Melbourne is a southern Pilbaran town that is one of the oldest in the nation and the continent itself. Melbourne was first founded by Gaggy_ on May 1st, 2022, two days before the founding of Australia. Despite not having a big population, Melbourne is the second largest town regarding chunks in the nation of Pilbara, coming behind Onslow Bay, the nation's capital. In the empire, however, Melbourne is placed at third, with it's neighboring town of Bairnsdale, the capital of Gippsland taking second place.
History
Not too much is known about the history of Melbourne, besides the fact it seemed to be a important Australian town during it's first year. However, as time went, it bounced from mayor to mayor, causing the town to eventually find itself in the hands of Pilbara.
Selling
In late October 2024, the current mayor of Melbourne, Toastedbread812, moved to the Pilbaran town of Albury. From here, RadicalBroskii, the imperator of Gippsland, was supplied by Owry to hold onto the town. Afterwards, Melbourne was put for sale by Owry, and was eventually bought by SquishyTheFrog, a resident of New Caledonia and former mayor of the eastern Pilbara settlement of New Squishivia, for 1500 gold.
Future Plans
SquishyTheFrog hopes to develop Melbourne more and grow it to it's full potential, allowing for it to thrive and for it to reach new heights never seen before in its two year history.
