Nostra:Wheeling
Wheeling is a town in the Commonwealth of America, part of the informally-named Pittsburgh Metro cluster in Pennsylvania. Founded by Artihst on August 17, 2026, Wheeling is a Rust Belt urbanist revival project named for the mayor's mother's hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia, recreating several of that city's historic landmarks.
History
Wheeling was founded on August 17, 2026, joining the Commonwealth of America the following day. It was built alongside the neighboring towns of Pittsburgh (mayor Moxicodone) and Allegheny (mayor Yapannn), forming the informal "Pittsburgh Metro" cluster. Rather than three unrelated towns, the metro is a deliberate collaboration: despite differing build styles between the three mayors, the group has aimed to make the towns read as one continuous "urban fabric," including a shared street grid, a canal, and an ice rail line linking Wheeling and Pittsburgh. A joint civic building shared between all three towns has been proposed but not yet built. During the Chicago crisis, Wheeling and Pittsburgh briefly joined New York before rejoining America on August 18, 2026.
