Freetown is a small town in west africa, its a part of Guinea.

The town was once Guineas capital founded by Czipsu35 on the 21st of may 2022. But he had to move the capital north to Conakry so it would be in real life Guinea.

When Czipsu left for Conakry he left the second in command Birb/KarlVed with control. While Czipsu got the other town going Birb was temporary leader, making him the only other person to ever have control of Guinea.

History Of Freetown

The start 

Getting gold 

Czipsu started on the server 20th of may 2022, and immideatily started to get gold for a town. By the 21st he had enough gold and began recruiting people, both from and off the server.The current mayor got invited on the 2nd of June. When the town had a good size Czipsu and the town began getting gold for a nation. By the 27th of June Czipsu started the nation of Guinea.

The city grows 

In this period most of the old buildings got made, such as Technoblade and the Harbour. There were many more but most were destroyed in the "Big Abandonment". This is also the period were the road layout in the old town was made.

The capital moves

When Czipsu decided to move himself and the capital north to Conakry, the playerbase in Freetown slowly died out, people either joined new towns, stopped or moved with Czipsu to Conakry.

The Big Abandonment 

The collapse itself 

As the player base slowly fell apart, the mayor Birb/KarlVed slowly lost interest in the game. It got so bad that the town ended up collapsing. Therefore most of the old buildings got taken down by Czipsu to save the resources.

The revival 

As soon as Freetown collapsed, Czipsu got Birb back on the server so that he could remake the town. On the (insert date) Birb got the town up and running again. Freetown got reclaimed from Technoblade towards the sea and Conakry. At the high point of this period Freetown had 16 people.

Currently 

On the 30th of may 2024 Freetown finally had enough people to claim more again, we had enough for 13 chunks in one day. As of the day of writing this the future looks bright.

Buildings

Technoblade statue

One of the oldest buildings still standing in Freetown and Guinea. It is Freetown's main attraction. It was made by Birb/KarlVed in the week following Technoblades death, it's a memorial, but is now also used as the city storage and spawn area.

Harbour

Another of the old buildings, it was made by Czipsu when he was mayor. The last parts of it got reclaimed the 30th of may 2024, and big renovations are planned.

Central Park

Central Park is a park wich is partly in Freetown and partly in Conakry. In the middle of the park a lake is located. The park was made by Czipsu.

Political Situation

Freetown is a part of Guinea, everything outside the town is handeled trough the Guinean Goverment. The Guinean Government is democraticlly elected trough the Nation Discord.

Inside the town Birb/KarlVed controls stuff.

Military

Freetown host's the only military base in Guinea, its located in the city center. Birb the mayor, is also Natinal Defence Minister, so he is fully responsible for the Millitary Base.
