When founder Mandi was finally unbanned from the EMC Minecraft server, he decided to step down as owner and give the news station to his head staff Hetansh. Hetansh promptly sold the organization just 3 days later to Epistolarian for a total of 292 EMC gold. Epistolarian got straight to work and added stocks, making TMR a public company, changed the logo due to a lack of copyright over the old logo and put in new place many more new systems. After almost a week of owning TMR Epistolarian yet again sold the company to [[MasterEWild]] in its entirety. MasterEWild aimed to buy TMR due to wanting to in his words "wanting to bring it back to its former glory, its meant to be a news station and not a company". After MasterEWild bought TMR he updated the Management Team, adding Panth_r and Capitranfra as well as the founder Mandi, removed stocks, reverted the logo, added a new role and automated things with bots. Over the next couple months, MasterEWild continued to introduce new features like the Community Feed and the role of Media Maker. MasterEWild also kept the TMR's main focus, nation reports going continuing the reports on the Huaxia Union, Vermont and Zealandia and facilitating the start of the reports on ETRA and Sapmi. On August 23rd 2024, MasterEWild announced his resignation as The Monthly Report's Editor in Chief due to being busy with other EMC projects. Because of this, MasterEWild gave TMR to desiredcheese92, the creator of the original TMR logo. With this announcement, MasterEWild also announced the creation of the Executive Management Team, a step above the Management Team and a step below the Editor in Chief serving as the second in command. MasterEWild and Mandi are currently the only members of the Executive Management Team. For the last ownership change to date, on September 28th 2024 desiredcheese92 made Pigcookieman56 the Editor in Chief. Note that this is not an official ownership change as desiredcheese92 retained ownership of the server.

==Franchises== | |||
The Monthly Report has several Franchises. Franchises are other news organizations that decide to partner with TMR. Most of the time, Franchises adopt a TMR themed logo and give management a position in their organization while TMR gives their franchises a spotlight and encourages readers to check them out. Currently, TMR has 2 franchises, The Panama Report and the EMC Post.
