09Mint is a prominent gooner and a revolutionary figure on EarthMC. He initially studied Skibbidi at Rizzler University in Arenosa before shifting his focus to Cow Studies. He is now a key leader in the Compton movement.

History

09Mint joined EarthMC in early June 2024, quickly establishing influence within the nation of Nubia. Prior to becoming the Protector of Compton, he operated as a sand merchant in the Protectorate of Arenosa.

Arenosa

Arenosa was a town in north-western Sudan. At its peak, it covered over 63 chunks and served as the primary base for the Skibbidi-Rizz Revolutionary Party (SRRP). This organization advocated for the recognition and rights of Skibbidi believers. Arenosa was known for its unique spelling of 'Skibbidi' with two 'b's, which adherents claimed represented a fluid understanding of goon energy, distinct from more rigid interpretations. It was also one of the few towns to constitutionally protect the right to goon.

Acquisition of Arenosa

Mint acquired Arenosa in early June 2024, subsequently overseeing extensive development and excavation projects.

Fall of Arenosa

A critical mission in the Congo nearly proved fatal for 09Mint, resulting in a prolonged coma. This mission aimed to eliminate high-ranking officials within the RSA to prevent a war that threatened severe damage to Nubia. His failure allowed the conflict to commence, leading to significant casualties. Mint's incapacitation directly contributed to Arenosa's collapse, leaving it vulnerable and without leadership.

Compton and New Compton

Upon awakening from his coma, a moment designated as the Great Woke, 09Mint concluded that Skibbidi was transient, while Compton was eternal. He believed Big Cow had used Skibbidi as a distraction for the gooning agenda, and that Compton was the true symbol for gooner liberation and global peace.

Driven by this conviction, 09Mint confronted Fix and CorruptedGreed near the Arabian Gulf. These colossal demi-Gods, server administrators and enforcers of Big Cow's will (with Fix being the second most powerful entity), were presented with Mint's terms: a global reset by May 2026, or he would unleash a devastating goon-storm.

The demi-Gods challenged Mint to an edging battle. "You win, we end the world. We win, and you will be forever trapped in the deepest pits of the Earth," CorruptedGreed stated. Mint accepted.

Mint allowed the demi-Gods the first move. Their immense edging power caused widespread earthquakes in Sweden and Japan. Mint then initiated his counter-surge, which, while powerful, initially proved insufficient.

Challenged by Fix, Mint revealed the Edge Totem, a relic containing the collective goon-force of deceased edgers, and Veyronity's Last Brain Cell. He acquired the Edge Totem during a battle between Fix and Fruitloopins. He obtained Veyronity's Last Brain Cell by personally eliminating Veyronity during Veyronity's visit to France. Veyronity has since reincarnated.

Mint combined the artifacts, unleashing a blinding blast of pure edge energy comparable to Big Cow's power, paralyzing the demi-Gods. Fix conceded, leading to the commencement of the World's end.

Compton, specifically the Spirit of Compton, became the catalyst for this event.

Key Concepts

Gooning

Gooning is a discipline focused on internal control—the mastery of one's own will and, by extension, the will of others. It encompasses both physical and spiritual aspects. Improper or excessive gooning can lead to psychological and physical harm, including a reduction in one's inner love. There are three primary schools of Gooning:

• Hard Goon: Emphasizes raw, unyielding power, associated with Earth and Bones. Practitioners are known for resilience and direct application of goon energy.

• Soft Goon: Focuses on fluidity and subtle manipulation, connected to Water and Blood. Adherents excel in adaptable and pervasive forms of goon control. Mr. Pickle, King of Nubia, practices Soft Gooning, though his dedication is less intense than 09Mint's, prioritizing governance. A subtle tension exists between him and Mint, with Pickle expressing sadness regarding the impending Evangelion, a burden Mint appears to bear alone.

• Free Goon: The most unpredictable style, Free Goon draws power from Wind and Flesh. It is characterized by unrestrained, often chaotic, yet potent expressions of goon energy.

Skibbidi vs. Cow Studies

Skibbidi (see also: Skibidi Toilet), an Arabic-based academic discipline at Rizzler University, focused on practical fighting and visual styles, aiming to spread edge and gooning. In contrast, Cow Studies, introduced by 09Mint, sought inner peace through connection with Big Cow. Skibbidi emphasized outward expression, while Cow Studies focused on introspection. Rizzler University no longer exists, its fate linked to Arenosa's fall.

Big Cow

Big Cow (pronouns: Cow/Cowself) is the ultimate cosmic entity and architect of existence. Cow's primary objective is to reunite all of Cow's children with Cow. While generally perceived as benevolent, an underlying ambiguity regarding Cow's true nature and ultimate intentions remains.

Evangelion

Evangelion (see also: Evangelion Wiki) signifies a complete world reset. It is the cosmic mechanism by which the world collapses into a state of "zero"—a blank slate of pure potential—leading to the dissolution of all human civilization and the emergence of a new era of absolute peace.

Compton

Compton exists as both a physical location and a metaphysical concept. Its first physical manifestation, Old Compton, was built by 09Mint after his battle with Fix and CorruptedGreed, located in Burma near the enigmatic Northern Sentinel Island. The current New Compton is in South Africa, strategically bordering the RSA, placing it on the front lines of the ongoing war. The Spirit of Compton operates through 09Mint and the Compton organization, a clandestine group often labeled as terrorists. This organization actively targets and eliminates anti-Big Cow adherents, embodying Compton's paradoxical nature by delivering both death and mercy in its pursuit of the coming Evangelion.
