The Suzhnetsk Commune, known by short as Suzhnetsk, is a state in Siberia. Suzhnetsk is a libertarian socialist state with direct democracy that elects a leader once every two weeks. To join Suzhnetsk, players must be approved by a vote.
History
The Taiwan Journey
At first, FourMelons and Floundisc tried to go to Siberia by rail through Japan, though they decided this to be too risky as they believed Japan to be a dangerous nation. They settled on teleporting to a nation and leaving that nation to found a new nation.
Sprucefield
They joined Sprucefield, but the minimum gold to register a town is 60, so they had to build up gold. They decided to join Sprucefield and slowly recruit members until they had enough gold to found a town. While in Sprucefield, the two invited MrIceyGuy, Yummebleh, and deathbyvin. The five had earned enough gold through /vote to break off and form their own nation, naming it Suzhnetsk.
Founding of Suzhnetsk
The trek from Sprucefield to Suzhnetsk was rough. The five quickly ran out of food and resorted to eating rotten flesh, getting stuck at what was a base before marching west into the new land. FourMelons, whom the players had given the gold to, deposited the gold to Floundisc who founded the nation; as Floundisc had experience on founding towns.
Government
The government of Suzhnetsk is a direct democracy under a libertarian market socialist state. Pseudo-capitalism occurs through MrIceyGuy; as he tiptoes around direct capitalism in order to conduct buisness. Suzhnetsk is considered a meritocratic society by its members; and attitudes within the state towards issues resemble those viewpoints of the Founding Five.
Military
Suzhnetsk has no military. On the founding day of Suhznetsk, the concept was briefly discussed with FourMelons bringing up a Suzhnetsk military during regular monster incursions. A style of military similar to the Zapatistas was discussed, where any military would be separate from the government, but this concept has yet to be discussed further.
Buildings
Icey Tower
MrIceyGuy owns the Icey Tower, a residential complex. The first floor is owned by all in Suzhnetsk. MrIceyGuy takes up the second floor and Yummebleh's room is next to his, with FourMelons asking to join.
