=== Popularity === | |||
Rosey is largely considered the most popular sport in Eastern North America and the Pacific Northwest. In the Southwest of North America its popularity is second to that of Gridiron football and the [[EFL]] (EarthMC Football League), which dominates Texas and California, although RFL nonetheless has presence in Texas with the RFL's Neverland Pirates. It has also gained some popularity in Western Europe, with the Swiss Redeyes bolstering Rosey to be the second-largest sport in Switzerland behind F1 Racing, and has garnered limited popularity in France and North Africa.
RFL is the most-viewed sports league on EarthMC, with the second-highest average attendance. It has the fourth-highest estimated fanbase and playerbase, and is one of the fastest growing organized sports.
RFL players consist of various nationalities. As of June 2026, 31% of active professional rosey players on RFL rosters are American, 21% are Acadian, 10% are Swiss, and 7% are Texan. 14% are from nations in the Pacific Northwest (Cascadia, Cariboo, Montana), 6% are from other nations in Eastern North America (Massachusetts, New York), and the remainder are from other nations around the globe such as France, Mauretania, and Australia.
