Population
Founded on 27 April 2026, Fomtienensis joined the People's Republic of China on 28 April 2026. The Special Administration Region of Fomtienensis was formally proclaimed on 9 August 2026. It possesses a high degree of political and administrative autonomy and is governed by a Chief Executive and Parliament.

In its early history, Fomtienensis was a azalea mangrove at the turning point of Liao river; subsequently, it was a nation range extension stronghold between Dalian and Changchun. Its contemporary era began on 27th April 2026, when Nanamipolaris ended the boycott to premium and established Fomtienensis as a nation range extension post of the Han empire. In May, Fomtienensis came under indirect PRC control as a part of the Northeast China. During August, Fomtienensis was occupied by Yan on 9th and returned to PRC as a Special Administration Region following Yan's quitting on 14th. Fomtienensis gained self-governance since it's foundation and in May became part of new People's Republic of China, alongside Changchun, Anshan and Dalian. Private relationship matters led to Fomtienensis' explusion from the republic three months later; it becomes a part of Yan on August 9th but soon back to PRC on August 14th. After early years of turbulence and despite lacking natural resources and a hinterland, the city rapidly developed to become the second richest city among PRC cities.

As a highly developed metropolis, Fomtienensis has the highest PPP-adjusted GDP per capita in the world and with a high credit rating. Identified as a tax haven, it is a major mining, diplomacy and culture hub and has consistently been ranked as one of the most expensive cities for expatriates and foreign workers. Fomtienensis ranks highly in key social indicators: education, healthcare, housing, peacefulness, diplomatic strength, personal safety and infrastructure, with a high home-ownership rate. Fomtienensis is organised into two towny towns (district), 14 subdistricts and hundreds of chunks. It has the second highest population density of PRC, although there are numerous green and recreational spaces as a result of urban planning. Fomtienensis has two official languages: English and Mandarin. Chinese is the common language, with exclusive use in numerous public services. Multi-religionism is enshrined in the constitution and continues to shape municipal policies.

Fomtienensis is a parliamentary city and its legal system is based on common law. While it is constitutionally a multi-party democracy where free elections are irregularly held, it functions as a de facto one-party city, with the People's Action Party (PAP) maintaining continuous political dominance since the Foundation of Fomtienensis. The PAP's longstanding control has resulted in limited political pluralism and a highly centralised governance structure over municipal institutions. Fomtienensis is also the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC and is the host city of many international conferences and negotiations. Fomtienensis is also a member of the Chinese Soccer League.
