Nostra:Ajka

Ajka is a town on EarthMC Terra Nostra in the nation of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was founded on 14th August of 2026 by two players of Hungarian nationality, AndorAdam20 and zetenyvoros. The town became a member of the PLC on the same day, and it is still under construction.

Location

The town is located not far from the northwestern shore of Lake Balaton. Some of the nearest cities are the following: Szekesfehervar, Balatonfalva, Sio and Austria. The Bratislava-Balatonfalva and the Austria-Budapest ice highway is also not far from the town.

History

August 2026 - the town was founded. The construction of the St. Barbara Church and the town hall began.

Economy and Infrastructure

Ajka's economic power is negligible within the PLC. However, according to the city's leadership, it could become one of the economic engines of the region in the future, even by the end of 2026, thanks to its favorable location.

Government and national role

The city is led by two consuls who have equal power. The current consuls are AndorAdam20 and zetenyvoros.

On August 26, 2026, Ajka became a member of the Nemzeti Magyar Tanács (National Hungarian Council). With the support of Sokmak, councillor of Balatonfalva, zetenyvoros was elected as a member of the Council with an absolute majority, thus the city officially became a member of the organization that unite Hungarian settlements.

The Bill of Consuls

The Bill of Consuls is the constitution of the city of Ajka. The first, original version was adopted by the city’s two consuls on August 27, 2026. The Bill of Consuls consists of 12 chapters and 26 articles, and it is considered one of EarthMC's most stable constitutions. According to its constitution, Ajka is a committed member of the PLC, part of the National Hungarian Council, which brings together Hungarian municipalities, and, in terms of its form of government, is a constitutional diarchy.
