The Nostra Times News is a discord news server for EarthMC, primarily posting short-form news that EarthMC has been producing for years. The Nostra Times was established in October 2025, and is EarthMC's third largest news servers by discord member size under TBI and Live. The Nostra Times is also the newest large news server on EMC.

EarthMC Reset Community:
User:1143320103925055520 created the EarthMC Reset Community discord server in October 2025. The EarthMC Reset Community or otherwise abbreviated "ERC", was primarily created for and focused on becoming a server for players to post their Nostra reset plans and builds. The server saw an influx of 95 players join the server over the 29th and 30th of October 2025 alone, and continued to have a large influx of members steadily for months.

Due to the success of the server in early stages, 36hoi thought of what the server could be used for after the reset happened in April 2026, and eventually due to an interest in spreading EMC news, and his history as a editor of TBI, he decided that the server once it was obsolete would move to become a news server.

In preparation for this, the Nostra News channel was created on the 26th of February 2026, posting about planned nations featured in the ERC server, and eventually posting about Aurora events. This channel would then go on to be the primary channel used today, #nostra-times.

Finally, on the 11th April 2026, the server changed its name and appearance to be the newest news service on EMC, the Nostra Times.

April-May 2026
Many things happened in NT's first month as an official news service, we saw the newest director being promoted, Jacquemon on the 14th April, where he had been an incredible help to the early development of the server, but he quit EMC and left the Nostra Times afterwards in May.

Also, the server had achieved the large milestone of 1000 members on the 16th of April.

The initial editor team for the Nostra Times at the time of the rebrand was Panth_r, 36hoi, Jacquemon, Easyundead, spacewonder6, and limao_mao (promoted on 20 April)

Whereas in May, where the first of that month was the full release of the EMC server to non-premiums, Oce_ was promoted to being an editor and head writer, and SuperiorLemos & _Melix_ were promoted to editors. This month was also the release of the NT Newspaper's first issue.

At the end of may, the Senior Editor role was created, and Panth_r/Near and SuperiorLemos were promoted to senior editors, and the server administrator position that Near held was deleted.

June-August 2026
June was the release of the first international census, a survey for all of the world to participate in and answer questions about their town, nation, and player. This census had large participation for a new addition, with 109 responses, and quickly became one of the best additions to the server.

NT became cemented into the ranks as a large news service in these months, with more and more servers following the services many news channels.

On the 4th of August, it was announced that the server would be using a different form of news publishing now, with the addition of the Nostra Times discord bot, featuring a command that reporters could use to post news with more detail to the #nostra-times channel. This bot added tags to a news post, and made every single short news post in the primary channel more detailed.

On the last day of August, it was also announced that a new in-game role would be available for purchase at /n spawn Arabia in game. This role would be the supporter role, where you could purchase it for 25g to support reporter of the week prizes and the server itself while gaining in-server benefits. The initial release of the new role would come with a coast trim giveaway to a buyer of the role, which eventually went to _Melix_.

September-December 2026
On the 3rd of October, the September (lol) census was created as the second of its kind following the successful one in June of that year. The census smashed the previous response record of 109 by 102 responses with a total of 211 individual responses recorded in the second census.
