Volzhsk is a small city in Russia on the shore of lake Onega. It is located in the Pomorie region.
History
Transport
In Volzhsk there is a station of the underground ice route «Yenisei», which unites most of the cities of Russia. Thus, from Volzhsk on the ice road you can get to St. Petersburg, Pavlodar, Yaroslavl and other cities, as well as to the cities of Finland and Tsarist Russia.
Near Volzhsk there is a section of the above-ground ice route that connects several cities in Russia, and is also connected to the South Russian ice route that leads to the far East.
Volzhsk is located on the shore of lake Onega, which makes it possible to get to Astora, Pavlodar and Petrozavodsk by water.
Economy
In Volzhsk there is a farm, as well as a small pen for animals, where there are cows. Basically, the city's budget consists of voting, government funding, and home sales.
