Brazilian Wipe Genocide

The Big Wipe Genocide is a term used by Brazilian players do designate the time when the server updated to 1.16 version.

Around February 5th-10th, the server experienced a change when Fix updated EarthMC to version 1.16. During that time, only premium players could join. When it happened, a big wipe of mobs happened in the nation of Brazil for unknown reasons. Some players say it also happened in other nations, but Brazil was by far one of the mostly affected.

The Brazilian economy by that time was based on turtle eggs, horses, feathers, eggs, leather, wool, and other animal-based products that were sold internally or to other nations that were willing to buy; even if the exportation of glass and wood was considered, the main products sold were animal-based.

During the Big Wipe Genocide, many towns experienced large economic loss, including Mehinaku, Sao_Paulo, Osaka, Vatican, France, DisneyLand, Campinas, Bacurau and Belem (in order of amount of mobs lost). For example, Mehinaku used to keep a cow pen with more than 100 cows underground, producing large amounts of leather daily and feeding the international market, using the gold for its internal development projects. Similarly, Sao Paulo's sheep produced wool, which benefited the economy of the town. The economy had to be re-designed due to the event in order to keep up its economic activity rate, but the Wipe Genocide had still a big impact in the nations' economies.

The effects of the Genocide were not only in the economic aspect. In fact, it also affected the cultural aspect: for example, in the city of Campinas, a player named Marechall used to keep a Chicken named Gallinacea, showing a lot of affection and being really close to his pet. During the Genocide, Gallinacea was one of the victims of the unfair and unprecedented mass killing. Marechall was severely affected by the fact that he lost the one that he mostly love in the EarthMC world, and the entire nation was also shocked by what happened. During that time, Marechall had passed through all of the 5 stages of grief and loss.

The town of Campinas made several statues in honor of Gallinacea and to remember of those who were lost in the Genocide. Marechall joined the Brazilian Senate, and during his senatorship, he has made proposals of changes in the political system and has questioned the status of Xinguism as official religion of Brazil.

Xinguists used to pray for Fix and the holy land of Xingu (where Mehinaku is located), but the Big Brazilian Genocide also happened in the land of Xingu.

The will to change has grown up to the fact that Marechall funded its own religion named "Coolism", where Fix is the God of the religion (such as Xinguism) but the Chickens are the divine image of the religion, and not the Land of Xingu. The religion of Coolism also has a Holy Book, and Marechall is its pope, but the religion isn't the official religion of Brazil.

Lately, the religious situation of Brazil has been more and more radical due to the Big Wipe Genocide, since the current religion, Xinguism, has attempted to make a Brazilian Xinguist Inquisition (but failed), while the Coolism pope has been more and more aggressive with terms such as blasphemy and bastards.
