'''Portland''' was founded by [[BetaPlain]] on 9th February 2020. At the time of writing the town was run by its founder. The town is currently situated in the mega nation [[Cascadia]]. The town, as BetaPlain describes it, is currently in a non-productive state. By this, he means he is unable to expand his town without breaking the Cascadian Law.

BetaPlain originally lived in his town [[Newburn]], before he was offered to be the national leader of Oregon by Estonian Mapping. BetaPlain founded Portland (now Bend) on 24th December 2019 in the ruins of [[Bend]].

However, the name Portland didn't make sense as he had founded his town in the real-life location of Bend, not Portland. BetaPlain expanded his town North until he came to the realization to sell his town and start again.
