With the new core of Malso and fruityboi, the Orcas were ready to make a run.  They were the #2 seed in their division, having to play the Gazelles again in the Wildcard Round.  They won on a Morocco forfeit 2-0.  Then they were onto the semifinal against their new rival, the Tridents.  They were hungry for revenge from the past.  The game started slow, with only an 8-6 score at halftime, where the Orcas were down by only two points.  Malso threw a costly INT to make it 16-6 in favor of the Tridents.  The Wolves responded with a touchdown to make it 16-12.  The Tridents scored again to make the game 24-12, with the Orcas yet again responding to make it 24-18.  With limited time left, the Orcas decided to try an onside kick.  They converted it and scored a touchdown to lead the game 25-24.  Alaska just needed a stop to win it.  Just like they had the rest of the season though, they let up a crucical touchdown to be down 32-25, 0:25 left in the game.  Malso ran it in for a TD himself to make the game 32-31.  The Orcas decided to risk it all again, and went for 2.  The converted, and advanced to Super Bowl II against the Hueys.  In the Super Bowl, Fruityboi was unavailable, so JoeSheisty, who Malso had defeated in the previous game, came on to help.  The game was extremely high scoring, with both teams constantly trading touchdowns.  Alaska was up 43-36 with 0:08 left in the game.  All they needed was a stop, something they could never get.  With the game on the line, Malso intercepted a pass from the other team's quarterback, CazyMan, for a touchdown and a Super Bowl win with a score of 49-36.

As 4 of their 7 games were forfeits, many created a narrative that they only won because of these forfeits.  Alaska kept themselves in check this time, knowing about their potential.  For the first time in franchise history, they got to skip the divisional round.  In the semifinals, they played the Club America Aguilas, the indirect successor of the Hueys.  Unlike the previous semifinal they played, this game was not nearly as much of a thriller.  Lag was an extreme issue when playing, so the game was paused at halftime with the score of 40-20 in favor of the Orcas.  At this point, it became fairly obvious they would win the game, but still had to finish.  The game ended in a 70-35 beat down of the Aguilas to move on to their second straight Super Bowl.  For the first time ever, a perfect season and a repeat was on the line.  Super Bowl III was played in Fairbanks Alaska, their home town, and they were able to bring it home, at home.  They played against the Dallas Cowboys, who showed their dysfunctionality throughout the game, but still managed to keep it relatively close.  Alaska was able to close it out in the end however, winning 49-42.  They had become the first repeat champions and the first perfect team in history.

The team's logo depicts a fierce looking Eagle.

The Philadelphia Eagles (previously called the Alaska Wolves and the Alaska Orcas) are a professional American football team founded in the EFL's first season by Malso. The Eagles compete in the Earth Football League (EFL) as a member club of the league's World Football Conference (WFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Lincoln Financial Field. They were originally called the Alaska Wolves and the Alaska Orcas, but changed their name for the current Season IV season.

The franchise was established on March 3rd, 2022 as a replacement for the folded Chihuahua Raptors when Malso secured the rights to an EFL franchise in Alaska. Since their formation, the Eagles have appeared in the playoffs 3 times, won 1 division title, and appeared in two Super Bowls, winning Super Bowl II and Super Bowl III at the end of the S2 and S3 seasons.

Four individuals affiliated with the Eagles have been inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as of 2023: Malso, JoeSheisty, Dogster, and CazyMan.

The team has had an intense rivalry with the Club America Aguilas. It is one of the fiercest and most well-known rivalries in the American football community. They have a bitter rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys, and a historic rivalry with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Eagles are owned by Malso, who established the team on May 3, 2022. Malso is regarded as not only the best owner in franchise history, but the best owner, coach, general manager, and player in the EFL.

History

EFL in Alaska (Pre-S1)

The EFL, a new American Football League, came to the decision to grant the rights to Alaska to a new team. This team was called the Arctic Bears. It was based in Arctic Alaska and ran by m1ner along with fruityboi. The team had large aspirations and immediately started signing new talent. However, due to m1ner leaving, the franchise folded. It set the ground work for another team to be put in Alaska in the future.

The EFL returns to Alaska (S1)

On March 3rd, 2022, the EFL got a surprising offer. It was another bid for an Alaskan team. This time, however, the team was based in Juneau, Alaska. Malso was hopeful that the league would accept. He was an avid football fan in real-life, supporting the Philadelphia Eagles. The league decided to give the proposed team an opportunity to compete in S1.

Beginner Struggles (Season I)

A game being played at Orca Arena, the first home of the Eagles and the namesake for their second team name.

The team was thrown into the league a week after they applied. Due to the unexpectedness, they had poor quality players. Their first main core consisted of Malso, troovi, and MatauPlays. In the first game the team played, against the future Super Bowl runner-up, they tied in a thrilling 28-28 game. This gave Alaska some hope headed into the final week of the regular season. As they replaced Tennessee, they had a 0-2-1 record, and were locked into the playoffs. Due to a scheduling conflict, they ended up forfeiting the game to Madagascar. In their first season, they had made it to the playoffs. In the wildcard round against Tallahassee, they came close to having an upset win over the Confederates. In a game that is still disputed with some potentially biased calls, they lost 22-20,and were eliminated from the chance to play in Super Bowl I. Despite making the playoffs in year one, there was still much to be desired, such as the first win.

An Up and Down Season (Season II)

The team had some more experience under their belt, and was ready to try and make a run. They kept their main core for the beginning of the season. In their first game, they beat the Morocco Gazelles 32-22. They finally got their first win, savoring the great moment. Their first win gave them some more confidence. Going into Week 2 of S2, they played Madagascar, who failed to show up, as they did to Madagascar the season before. With a 2-0 record, they lead their conference, but had a massive game between the Tridents to see who would pull away in the conference lead. For this game, they put it in the hands of protégé Elliot. Malso was originally expected to play, but had something come up and had to unexpectedly leave. To this day, he claims his car broke down. The game ended in a 24-6 blowout loss, an important humbling moment for the team. For their next game, they had a massive free agent signing in fruityboi, the wide receiver of the previous Super Bowl winners. He was present at their last game in Week 4. Malso however wasn't, due to scheduling conflicts. The Wolves narrowly lost the finale to the Hueys, 31-30. From this point, Malso vowed to be more involved and decided to change the team name before the playoffs to the Orcas. They finished the season 2-2 (.500%).

The Beginning of a Dynasty (Season II)

Malso and JoeSheisty celebrated their Super Bowl II victory in Morocco's SNA Stadium.

With the new core of Malso and fruityboi, the Orcas were ready to make a run. They were the #2 seed in their division, having to play the Gazelles again in the Wildcard Round. They won on a Morocco forfeit 2-0. Then they were onto the OFC Championship Game, the conference final, against their new rival, the Tridents. Malso was the game's MVP, but he gave credit to Matau, Fruityboi, and JoeSheisty who helped it all be possible for them.

The Orcas Era of Dominance Begins (Season III)

After the Super Bowl victory, Malso knew that his team could be seen as a fluke. He wanted to get back to the mountaintop and win it all yet again. In the offseason, he devised a formula to win games and grow talent, which has never been figured out to this day. In the draft, he made strategic moves consisting of friends and former players to join the team. Their season began at their new home stadium, Conquest Superdome. A security breach was discovered and the field was raided at halftime, making the game stop at 26-14 in favor of the Orcas. The Orcas then beat Club America, the spiritual successor of the Hueys, by a score of 30-24. Their next four games were all won on forfeits from other teams due to not showing up for games. This helped them clinch their conference for the first time, skipping the divisional round. Despite the rest of their games not mattering, they still wanted to have a perfect season, as they were the closest to ever doing so. In this time, they made one of the most important signings in their team history. They signed Dogster to a record 30g per game contract, and finally got a great PvPer on their team. They closed out the season 40-28, having a perfect 7-0 record in the regular season.

Destroying the Narratives, Repeat Champs (Season III)

Malso and Dogster celebrated their Super Bowl II victory in Alaska's Conquest Superdome.

They had become the first repeat champions and the first perfect team in history, with a perfect 9-0 record throughout the whole season.

The Desire for a Threepeat and the Name Change to the Philadelphia Eagles (Season IV)

Malso was very pleased with the season, as any would be, but wanted to get the illustrious threepeat. In order to attain that, he needed to get another PvPer who complimented Dogster. That ended up being a trade for Mavereich of the Rebels for MatauPlays, an original player. They signed fruityboi in free agency, one of the core members in their Super Bowl II win. Fruityboi was also signed as their President and CEO. They relocated to Pennsylvania, becoming the Philadelphia Eagles at the start of Season IV. (Will be updated when the S4 regular season concludes on August 27th, 2023)
