Nova:Dead Era

Welcome to… A COMPREHENSIVE History of EarthMC Nova’s Dead Era (May 13th, 2022-July 25th, 2024)

As you probably know, the popular EarthMC server had two main servers within it, those being Aurora and Nova, with Aurora being much younger.

As such, when Aurora was released to the public in May of 2022, many players switched from the old Nova server to the newer Aurora server.

This meant that there was a steep decline in the number of average players on Nova at any given time, though a dedicated group of people stayed on the server until around May of 2023, when the server once again began to die.

This changed, however, in July of that year, when the Sudanese Empire began to quickly expand across the globe and came into contact with numerous other powers.

The wars and events that followed kept the server going somewhat strong until around April of 2024, when most people began to move on from the server.

The following is every consequential event that occurred in Nova’s Dead Era:

May 14th, 2022: ObsidianGuy21 became the king of Cape Dorset.

September 13th: Sudan declared war on 4.1NationNaming and Central Africa.

November 14th: A meganation called the Sudanese Empire (SE) was founded by kobiKraft, leader of Sudan, including Sudan, Brunei, and Liechtenstein. Bosnia was renamed to Yugoslavia.

November 15th: ShadowFilip1 became Prince of Yugoslavia.

November 16th: Sudan issued an ultimatum to Yugoslavia to remove ShadowFilip1 from the princeship.

November 20th: duolingualpickle became leader of Yugoslavia. omnipresent became king of Montenegro.

November 23rd: The Battle of Zilgamez took place in Sudan between 5 Nubians, including twomoo1119, leader of Nubia, and 1 Sudanese, Pointlessgamer89, ending in Sudanese victory.

November 25th: Yugoslavia asks for peace with Sudan, so as not to kick ShadowFilip1 from the princeship.

November 26th: The Treaty of Sarajevo was signed by Yugoslavia, Central Africa, and Sudan, ending the war between Central Africa and the Reimist Union (RU), and lowering tensions between Sudan and Yugoslavia.

December 1st: A nation called DACIA was founded by SuntVG, its capital being Bucharest.

December 17th: TrinidadTobago, led by Saoronan, declared war on Sudan and threatened to declare war on the town of Celestia (4.1NewNamePls), led by Mojangcrafter999.

December 18th: Sudan agreed to cooperate with Celestia if TrinidadTobago declared war on them.

December 19th: Sudanese and Celestian forces attacked TrinidadTobagan and West African forces. TrinidadTobago declared war on Celestia. West Africa declared war on Sudan and Celestia.

December 20th: SuntVG was banned. Yugoslavia was sold to West Africa. TrinidadTobago was kicked out of the RU. TrinidadTobago attacked Sudan.

December 21st: A battle between West African and TrinidadTobagan forces vs Sudan resulted in Sudanese victory.

December 22nd: The Battle of Celestia was fought between Sudanese and Celestian forces vs. TrinidadTobagan, West African, and Godthabian forces, ending in Celestian-Sudanese victory. December 26th: A battle between Liechtensteiner forces vs. TrinidadTobagan and West African forces ended in TrinidadTobagan-West African victory.

December 30th: The town of Palestine fell into ruin, deleted by Zuko_lol due to pressure from TrinidadTobago.

December 31st: A town called Sarh was founded by Zuko_lol, joining Sudan.

January 1st, 2023: Caucasus joined the SE.

Caucasus left the SE sometime after January 1st.

January 2nd: Novaws was founded by GamerWolf6838.

January 3rd: France supported TrinidadTobago in the Sudanese-TrinidadTobagan War.

January 6th: The First Battle of Nova Castelia was fought between Sudanese and Venezuelan forces vs. TrinidadTobagan and West African forces, ending in TrinidadTobagan-West African victory and the trapping and death of kobiKraft. The town of Nova Castelia left TrinidadTobago and joined Venezuela. TrinidadTobago joined the French Kingdom (FK). Central Africa joined the FK. West Africa joined the FK.

January 7th: The Second Battle of Nova Castelia was fought, resulting in many Venezuelan deaths by French forces and Nova Castelia leaving Venezuela and rejoining TrinidadTobago. An alliance called The Venezuela Alliance (TVA) was founded by Alemakko, leader of Venezuela, including the nations of Venezuela, Liechtenstein, Cape Dorset, and 4.1newnamepls.

New Ireland and Central Africa joined TVA sometime after January 7th.

January 8th: Nova Castelia robbed TrinidadTobago and rejoined Venezuela. A meganation called Scandinavia-Central Africa (SCA) was founded by duosal and ShadowFilip1, the leaders of Scandinavia and Central Africa respectively, including the nations of Scandinavia, Central Africa, and Liechtenstein.

Chihuahua, New Ireland, North Brazil, and West Africa joined SCA sometime after January 8th.

January 9th: A battle between Sudanese and French forces ended in a draw. France and TrinidadTobago declared war on Venezuela.

Venezuela won the above war sometime before March 26th.

January 10th: Liechtenstein left TVA and joined the FK. Sudan joined TVA. Venezuela joined the SE.

January 11th: SCA adopted its first flag.

January 12th: A battle between Sudanese vs. French forces ended in overwhelming Sudanese victory.

January 13th: Venezuela and Nova Castelia signed a treaty where Venezuela gave gold in exchange for Nova Castelia’s permanent membership of Venezuela. Scandinavia and Central Africa left the FK, leading to the First French-SCA War.

January 14th: A battle between French vs. Liechtensteiner forces ended with France taking the town of Ulster from Liechtenstein. The First French-SCA War ended as Thanamos, leader of France, surrendered after getting trapped. Thanamos then declared war on SCA once again, starting the Second French-SCA War.


January 15th: Liechtenstein left SCA. Sudan declared war on France, TrinidadTobago, and West Africa. A battle over a French town ended in the town falling into ruin.

January 20th: Saoronon “quit” EarthMC. w1ldheart, the leader of Liechtenstein, killed Thanamos.

January 23rd: The town of Ulster stole gold from France and left it. A nation called Ireland was founded by Minecraftlava, its capital being Ulster. Ireland joined SCA. France declared war on Ireland.

January 25th: A nation called The Order VCol was founded by Magma Games, its capital being Fort Cross. The Order VCol joined TVA.

January 30th: SCA joined the United Nations Assistance Council (UNAC).

A meganation called the Irish Empire (IE) was founded by Minecraftlava, including England and Ireland, sometime before February 27th.

February 27th: Cape Dorset joined the IE.

March 3rd: Cape Dorset changed its name to Markland.

March 21st: Eritrea joined the SE.

Liechtenstein left the SE sometime before March 24th.

March 24th: The town of FUCKING HAPYCB (West Africa) was attacked by GalaxyGaming2000, Salbru and GedzifyyOnly_, causing it to join Cote Divoire. Liechtenstein rejoined the SE.

March 25th: Alonso joined the SE.

March 26th: Sudan and Alonso fought and lost a short battle with Zanzibar. Venezuela declared war on Ireland. Ireland declared war on the SE. Ireland was kicked out of SCA. TrinidadTobago supported the SE and SCA in the war.

England and Markland joined SCA sometime before March 27th.

March 27th: Markland and England were kicked out of SCA. North Brazil joined the SE. The town of GxsTown joined Sudan. Ireland and Venezuela made peace.

March 28th: Ireland attempted to make peace with the SE, which was rejected. Liechtenstein declared war on Ireland. A meganation called the International Protection League (IPL) was founded by Minecraftlava and raw_gold, including Central USA, England, Ireland, and Markland.

Central Africa joined the IPL sometime after March 28th.

March 29th: Sudan attacked and killed multiple Irish.

March 30th: Ireland traps and kills Alemakko, leader of Venezuela.

April 2nd: Ireland kills UnitiveBog10934, chancellor of Sudan.

April 3rd: Sudan launched a second attack on Ireland.

April 4th: Deutsches Reich cut ties with and placed sanctions on Ireland. Minecraftlava, leader of Ireland, threatened to delete Ulster and transfer the capital to Potato Vatican. Ireland was declared as the Second Irish Reich and they formed the Potato Knights Templar.

April 7th: Sudan successfully attacked Ireland. Ireland attempted to attack the Sudanese towns of Kraftier, Lifengo, and Zilgamez. The Sudanese resident TheFireyPanda sided with Ireland. Groom Lake supported Ireland.

April 8th: Central Africa declared an embargo and war on Ireland. Liechtenstein declared war on Ireland. Deutsches Reich supported Liechtenstein in the Sudanese-Irish War. The town of New Mississippi claimed Venezuela.

April 9th: A nation called New Ireland was founded by TheEarthyPanda, its capital being New Ireland. New Ireland joined the SE. New Ireland was claimblocked by Potato Vatican. Montenegro declared war on Ireland. The town of Bihać declared war on Ireland. The Battle of New Ireland between Sudanese and New Irish forces vs. Irish forces resulted in Sudanese-New Irish victory.

April 10th: France declared war on Ireland. Ireland attempted to invade New Ireland.

April 11th: New Ireland was claimblocked by Laois, Ireland. Ireland urges Laois to remove the claimblock but they are removed by a mod anyways. A town called SCA Army was founded by Salbru, joining New Ireland.

April 12th: Swedish Empire joined the SE. Laois attempted to expand north of New Ireland, though it was stopped. Central African forces left Ireland.

April 14th: guacamole joined the SE.

April 17th: A town called The Wood was founded and joined Sudan.

April 18th: Novaws was transferred from GamerWolf6838 to Alemakko.

April 21st: SSLChampion, chancellor of Brunei, was unbanned.

April 29th: The town of The Wood (Sudan) fell into ruin.

May 1st: New Kazakhstan joined the SE. Salbru was temporarily made king of Central Africa. Minecraftlava was tempbanned for a day. The town of Belfast joined New Ireland.

May 2nd: The town of New Ireland, the capital of New Ireland, changed its name to Castlebar. Minecraftlava was unbanned. The town of Potato land (Venezuela) declared war on Sudan.

May 3rd: A nation called Morocco was founded by HeIsEn_BuRgEr69, its capital being Stone Land. Morocco joined the SE.

May 4th: The town of Potato land left Venezuela and declared war on them.

Central Africa declared war on Potato land sometime before May 6th.

May 6th: Potato land undeclared war on Venezuela. Liechtenstein declared war on Potato land. Central Africa undeclared war on Potato land.

May 7th: New Ireland and Ireland were exposed by CFRhino in a plot to take resources from SCA. New Ireland was kicked out of the SE.

May 8th: New Ireland “unified” with Ireland. Diego7812 was hired by Sudan to kill multiple Irish, successfully killing Minecraftlava, Ontape, an Irish general, and robert23, mayor of the Irish town of Potato Vatican.

May 9th: Central Africa made peace with Ireland.

May 10th: Ireland attempted to claim Sudanese territory. Central Africa declared war on Sudan.

May 11th: KUNGedisLT, leader of Liechtenstein, was hacked. KUNGedisLT returned on a different account; Gedzitiser, owning Scotland.

May 12th: Scotland joined the SE. The town of synixers left Sudan. A nation called Chad was formed by Zuko_lol, its capital being at synixers.

May 13th: Chad joined the SE. A sub-meganation called the Mango Empire was founded by Gedzitiser, leader of Scotland, including Scotland and Liechtenstein.

May 14th: The town of EastBlue-Lifengo joined Sudan.

May 16th: Central Africa left Ireland. Sudan gained Irish territory. Central Africa declared war on Ireland.

May 25th: Chad left the SE and joined the IPL.

Chad rejoined the SE sometime after May 25th.

June 3rd: Sudan and Ireland signed a treaty, ending the war.

June 25th: You_Go_Slavia, mayor of Massawa, Nubia quits.

July 11th: A town called lappeernranta was founded by AbrahamBachmayer, joining Sweden.

July 12th: Ireland and Markland declared war on Sweden due to aggression from the town of lappeernranta. lappeernranta declared war on Numidia. Thus began the Sweden-Ireland War, also known as the Ikea-Potato War or the War of the North Sea.

July 14th: The Numidian Massacre took place where Gat69420, a resident of lappeernranta, killed the Numidian players AnneBoleyn111 and RorsGamingNow 6-13 times (exact number is up for debate).

July 15th: Venezuela declared war on Ireland in support of lappeernranta.

July 16th: AbrahamBachmayer resigned as mayor of lappeernranta and gave the mayorship to Gat69420. Salbru and XoneyLuvzCats, residents of lappeernranta and Irish spies, stole the entire storage of the town.

July 18th: The town of Irish Lappenrata was founded by Salbru, joining Sweden and bordering lappeernranta.

July 19th: A nation called Toussaint was founded by themirro1, its capital being Castel Ravello.

July 22nd: The town of Irish Lappenrata (Russia) fell into ruin.

July 23: A nation called Newer Kazakhstan, with a capital called DavidesReckoning, were both founded by Toopg. A nation called Newest Kazakhstan, with a capital called Davidesdemise, were both founded by Samisol. dsarionspotify became the leader of NewestKazakhstan. A nation called Old Kazakhstan, with a capital called DavidesDeath, were both founded by Samisol. These three PVPers from Pomerania, along with UghBraces, leader of Pomerania, declared war on New Kazakhstan, starting the PVPer War.

July 24: Sudan supported New Kazakhstan in the PVPer War.

July 25th: Gat69420 resigned as mayor of lappeernranta and gave the mayorship to krisstuffs. lappeernranta was renamed to Lappeenranta.

July 26th: Central Africa declared war on Ireland. An alliance called the United League of Allied Nations (ULAN) was founded between SCA and the SE, though it was never signed by kobiKraft.

July 28th: Lappeenranta joined the SE as a town colony.

Liechtenstein rejoined the SCA sometime before July 30th.

July 30th: Central Africa declared war on Scotland. Liechtenstein left SCA.

July 31st: A nation called New Russia was founded by krisstuffs, with lappeernranta as its capital. New Russia joined the SE. Gat69420 was kicked out of Lappeenranta by krisstuffs due to him being a ‘liability’.

August 6th: NewestKazakhstan and Old Kazakhstan fell into ruin and DavidesDeath and Davidesdemise fell into ruin.

August 7th: New Russia declared war on Newer Kazakhstan. Kraftier, the capital of Sudan, briefly changed its name to LLllllol. Reimia, the capital of Central Africa, briefly changed its name to Kraftier. Central Africa declared war on New Russia, though it was quickly reversed.

August 8th: The town of Lvivske (New Kazakhstan) fell into ruin. Peace talks were held in Reimia, Central Africa to discuss peace between Central Africa and Ireland.

August 9th: A town called Deez Nuts Land was founded by FigureInShadows, joining New Russia. Ireland declared war on Newer Kazakhstan. New Kazakhstan and New Russia restored peace with Newer Kazakhstan.

August 10th: Hannover joined the IE.

August 11th: New Ireland restored peace with Newer Kazakhstan. Kraftier was hit by a terrorist attack when a plane hit the twin towers. Sudan claimed that Ireland broke the June 3rd Treaty by stealing Sudanese residents.

August 12th: The town of OnslowVillage (Ireland) fell into ruin. The town of Chanteloup 2 (France) fell into ruin.

August 13th: New Russia joined TVA. SCA revoked recognition from the IE. The IE revoked recognition from SCA, ordering them to leave New Ireland. SCA declared war on Ireland. The town of cuhkoping was founded by Salbru, joining New Russia. Scotland supported SCA in their war against Ireland. The UNAC “became active again”. New Russia declared war on Voronej, killing its leader, Mazg21, and declaring victory 35 minutes later. France declared war on Ireland.

August 14th: SCA declared war on Ireland. Sudan declared war on Ireland in support of SCA and New Ireland. New Russia declared war on Ireland. The town of cuhkoping left New Russia. A nation called Swedish Union was founded by Salbru, its capital being cuhkoping. Swedish Union joined the SE. Scotland and SCA restored peace. An alliance called the Scandinavian Union (SU) was founded by Salbru, including Swedish Union and New Russia. A town called BomzasEmpire was founded by sin4min, joining Scotland. Swedish Union joined SCA. New Russia joined SCA. New Kazakhstan joined SCA. The town of Mullingar (Scotland) fell into ruin. A town called Húsavik was founded by Barity, joining Scotland. Scotland asks for aid in their war against Ireland.

August 15th: A town called Potogrod was founded by Shedowo, joining Scotland. Sudanese forces successfully attacked Ireland, killing Minecraftlava around 8 times though failing to take the ruins of Onslow Bay. guacamole joined SCA. The Treaty of Tranby was signed, ending the war between Ireland and SCA. UnitiveBog10934 and Minecraftlava discussed peace between Sudan and Ireland, though kobiKraft and GalaxyGaming2000 declined it. Scotland joined SCA. The town of Potogrod (Scotland) fell into ruin. The IE “officially” changed their name to the Albanian Empire, though no one ever called it that. Newer Kazakhstan was disbanded and its capital, DavidesReckoning, fell into ruin. A town called lunarhills was founded by blue_iguess, joining New Russia. A town called Hill Ville was founded by Ezelmine, joining New Russia. Minecraftlava was tempbanned for logging out during PVP.

August 16th: A town called Sudanese Ulster was founded by UnitiveBog10934, joining Scotland and becoming a battleground for the Sudanese-Irish War. The town of Coastal Munchen (Deutsches Reich) fell into ruin. A town called Larton was founded by KatzeLover1, joining New Russia. A town called tanna tuva was founded by ontape. A nation called Tanna Tuva was founded by ontape, its capital being tanna tuva. Tanna Tuva joined the IE.

August 17th: Fighting occurs between Sudanese and Irish forces in the towns of Sudanese Ulster, Scotland and Outer Hebrides, Hibrenia. The Battle of Scotland led to 202 Irish deaths compared to just 9 Sudanese deaths, though kobiKraft was killed by LeyLox, causing him to lose his duckshield. Swedish Union declared war on Ireland. Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, changed its name to Cumvilla. Gondor left the IE.

August 18th: Gondor rejoined the IE. Ireland was tricked into joining TVA, leaving immediately after. The town of Potato land (Venezuela) declared itself a ‘non self governing territory’, granting it more autonomy. Potato land declared war on Sudan. During a battle in the Sudanese-Irish War, two allies of Ireland, Delroz and Op_Good_Fruit, killed almost all Sudanese soldiers and stole their gear, in what was known as the Scottish Massacre.

August 19th: A town called KobiCart W was founded by Salbru, joining Scotland. The final death toll of the Sudanese-Irish War was 565 Irish deaths to just 20 Sudanese deaths.

August 20th: Swedish Union left SCA. A town called Sudanese Cashel was founded by UnitiveBog10934, joining Scotland. Ireland declared war on New Ireland. Central Africa declared war on Ireland. Swedish Union declared war on Central Africa.

August 21st: New Ireland joined the SU. New Russia severed ties with Alonso, just for the lols.

August 22nd: A town called Kosovo was founded by Op_Good_Fruit, joining Ireland. Sudanese Ulster, Scotland, led by _zRqstyy, successfully prevented an attempt at claim blocking from Kosovo, Ireland. New Russia became friends with Alonso. Potato land declared war on Scotland. The town of cuhkoping, the capital of Swedish Union, changed its name to Not Halal. Mapscientist, chancellor of Gujarat, an IE member state, was crowned an Irish Prince by Minecraftlava. Castlebar, the capital of New Ireland, was griefed by TheShadow4873, the leader of New Ireland, as well as some of his friends.

August 23rd: A town called halal was founded by Albino_M1, joining Swedish Union. Norway joined the SE. New Kazakhstan joined the SU.

August 24th: Scotland joined the SU.

August 26th: Scotland left SCA. A nation called Potato Kingdom was founded by aresdog1, its capital being Potato land. Cumvilla, the capital of Venezuela, changed its name to mopubasedong. The town of KobiCart W (Scotland) fell into ruin.

August 27th: Peace was made between Sudan and Potato Kingdom, Potato Kingdom giving netherite and gold and promising to stay neutral in the Sudanese-Irish War. Potato Kingdom was 2.1ed, since its name was against the rules.

August 28th: Salbru temporarily quit Nova, transferring ownership of Swedish Union to Veyronity and the SU to krisstuffs. krisstuffs disbanded the SU. The town of Outer Hebrides, led by SonKebabLava, left Ireland and joined Scotland. Potato Kingdom changed its name to Gran Columbia. A new town called bunkers was founded by Death9067, joining New Russia.

August 29th: A town called Colombus was founded by oIsar, joining South Carolina.

August 30th: A nation called Greater Georgia was founded by oIsar, its capital being Colombus. Greater Georgia joined the SE. New Russia left the United Nations (UN) and the UNAC for being dead.

August 31st: The SE left the ULAN due to feelings of indifference towards Ireland from SCA. Greater Georgia declared war on South Carolina, claiming some of their southern chunks. A nation called Hibrenia was founded by SonKebabLava, its capital being Outer Hebrides. Hibrenia joined the IE. Greater Georgia formed an economic alliance with East South Pole. Hibrenia declared war on Sudan. New Kazakhstan declared war on Hibrenia.

September 1st: Scotland declared war on Hibrenia. The town of Heilgista joined the SE as a town colony.

September 2nd: New Kazakhstan left SCA. Gran Columbia declared war on Hibrenia. Greater Georgia severed ties with Central Africa.

September 3rd: A town called Hermosillo was founded by TheBritishAreSad, joining USA. Gran Columbia joined the SE.

September 5th: Caucasus rejoined the SE. guacamole left SCA. New Russia left SCA. Venezuela left the SE. Venezuela joined the FK. Scotland declared war on Venezuela and SCA. New Russia left TVA. Venezuela declared war on Sudan, though quickly revoking it. France declared war on the SE. SCA threatened to declare war on Sudan. New Russia rejoined SCA on two conditions; that Shedowo stayed emperor and that peaceful relations were kept with the SE.

September 7th: A town called São Paulo was founded by FeCientista, joining Conf do Equador.

September 8th: Hibrenia declared war on Chad.

September 9th: Hibrenia and Gran Columbia signed the Treaty of Outer Hebrides, ending war between them. New Ireland rejoined the SE.

September 10th: New Russia rejoined TVA. A nation called Southern Ukraine was founded by clasifique, its capital being New Kyiv.

September 11th: New Ireland declared war on Hibrenia.

September 13th: The Sudanese town colony of Heiligsta signed an agreement with Sudan for mutual military and financial aid. A town called Popeisland was founded by Kasana6969, joining New Ireland.

September 16th: The SE announced that any of its member states also a part of SCA would lose some privileges enjoyed by non-SCA member states. The SE left TVA, with the exception of New Kazakhstan, New Ireland, and Gran Columbia. New Russia left SCA. In response to New Russia leaving SCA, Central Africa declared war on Sudan. New Ireland declared neutrality in the Sudanese-Central African War. The town of Heiligsta declared neutrality in the Sudanese-Central African War. A town called Flame was founded by XShadowAndreas, joining Sudan and bordering Central Africa. Gondor left the IE. Gondor joined the SE.

September 17th: Southern Ukraine joined the SE. Gran Columbia made peace with Scotland. A nation called Freiheitia was founded by The_V0id, its capital being Heiligsta. Freiheitia joined the SE. New Russia declared neutrality in the Sudanese-Central African War and the Sudanese-Venezuelan War. New Russia declared war on Hibrenia in support of Sudan.

September 18th: New Kazakhstan declared neutrality in the Sudanese-Venezuelan War. New Kazakhstan declared their support of Sudan in the Sudanese-Central African War. Gran Columbia declared neutrality in the Sudanese-Central African, Sudanese-Venezuelan, and Sudanese-Hibrenian Wars. Hibrenia declared war on the SE, with the exception of Gran Columbia, Freiheitia, and Greater Georgia. Greater Georgia declared war on Ireland. Hibrenia left the IE. An alliance called Protection Assisting Nation Peace (PANP) was founded by aresdog1, including Gran Columbia and Hibrenia. New Russia joined PANP. Ezelmine resigned as mayor of Hill Ville and gave the mayorship to EmeraldSwift777. Hill Ville was kicked from New Russia. A town called Gregory was founded by Ezelmine. A nation called New Finnmark was founded by Ezelmine, its capital being Gregory. New Finnmark joined the SE. A town called kings burg was founded by juice286526, joining New Kazakhstan. The town of Surat (Gujarat), led by Punt3rPlays, was griefed by users Satanu and NewYorker9. A town called communism was founded by Satanu, joining Bharat. New Russia declared war on communism. A town called capitalism was founded by NewYorker9. New Russia declared war on capitalism. Punt3rPlays called for support against the towns of communism and capitalism, creating the Surat Coalition to fight against the two towns. Gran Columbia declared war on the towns of communism and capitalism. krisstuffs opened the New Russia Flag Gallery.

September 19th: Ireland declared war on the SE, with the exception of Gran Columbia and Freiheitia. Ireland declared war on communism and capitalism. While all mayors retained their towns and nations, every other non-mayor resident was not transferred to the new server. Each town now had one resident, the mayor. In addition, player data and entities were not saved, meaning that all ender chest contents, item frames, and armor stands were gone. An issue with resident files meant that players who changed their name following Nova’s fall did not have access to their nations.

While it was a buggy start, it would improve…

December 30th: New Russia and Central Africa formed an empire called the Gay Union (GU). The GU declared war on Ireland.

The NSR was reformed into the Second North Star Republic (SNSR), led by Ezelmine, kreamykrissy, SinglePekka, and TheFunnyMonkey, including Gondor, Karelia Republic, Markland, New Finnmark, New Ireland, New Russia, Pelkosenniemi, Polish Republic, and Saami, though doyelsten, new saskatoon, Nordnorge, Nouvelle-France, and Nunavut were kicked from the republic. Mapscientist became the king of Gujarat, and Rajkot became its capital. North Brazil announced a voluntary slave trade and auction system. The USSR kicked out its non-Eurasian members, being Morocco, New Kasanze, North Brazil, Okaloosa, and West Africa.

January 3rd: New Russia left the SE. A meganation called the Gran Columbian Empire was founded by Duolingo1, including Gran Columbia and North Brazil. A nation called sea side was founded by Mythorbuster, its capital being Sea Side. sea side joined the SNSR. New Russia declared the Third Crusade against Angola, joined by Central Africa, Gran Columbia, Saami, and sea side. Saami declared itself as the Saamian Empire. Saami changed its flag. Venezuela merged into Gran Columbia, transferring all Venezuelan towns to Gran Columbia.The LAE was deleted. _KIRBY_poyo became king of England. England merged into Gran Columbia, transferring all English towns to Gran Columbia. England was unmerged with Gran Columbia, though it no longer existed as a nation, with its only town of Liverpool becoming nationless. TrooperEddieC became the mayor of the town of Liverpool. sea side adopted a flag. Karelia Republic became a vassal state of Saami, meaning that TheFunnyMonkey, the king of Saami, could do whatever he wished with Karelia Republic. Karelia Republic changed its flag. January 4th: SCA was disbanded. The TE left the GSE, including Epirus, Morocco, Nordnorge, Russian Estonia, TurkicEmpire, and West Africa. North Brazil left the UNAC. North Brazil left the UNO, even though it had already left at this point. Gran Columbia left the SE. The USSR declared war on the Inchiran Empire.

January 5th: A town called abc was founded by Salbru. The town of abc fell into ruin. The town of Saint Discoburg, the capital of New Russia, changed its flag. The Terra Nova Archive moved from the New Nova Discord server to a separate Google document.

January 6th: clasifique somehow transferred ownership of the town of Darwin and thus New Australia to an NPC and became the mayor of the town of Cape Verde. TVA was disbanded. Gujarat joined the SNSR. The town of Cape Verde changed its name to Gallegos. Gran Columbia changed its flag.

January 7th: Davide0033 made the town of Rio Gallego fall into ruin at the request of clasifique. Davide0033 made the town of bunkers (New Russia) fall into ruin at the request of kreamykrissy and Mightykloon. A nation called Patagonia was founded by clasifique, its capital being Gallegos.

January 9th: Patagonia adopted a flag. Markland joined the Third Crusade against Angola.
