Despite Owry being seen as a good Hoyenah by the people, cracks would begin to show. Owry and his friends owned several large towns across the Isles, specifically the towns of Ireland (previously known as Peebles), Galloway, Bebbanberg, Noxus (previously known as Cardiff), Aletta, and Wales. All of these towns were gifted to Owry by members of the community. The town of Galloway was Owry's original town, but after Owry acquired Cardiff and became Hoyenah the town fell into inactivity, the town of Bebbanberg needed a mayor because the owner didn't not wish to keep it, so Owry took it over as to keep the town south of it, Manchester, in check. During the months of June and July the town of Edinburgh, owned by bubisen, would explode in population. They would merge with the town of Scotland north of them, and ask to take over the land that was Bebbanberg. Owry would offer to sell it to them for 1k gold, which the owner of Edinburgh thought was outrageous for the town. In reaction they overclaimed the town. This made Hoyenah Owry incredibly angry and he petitioned the government to have the town removed from the nation. The chiefs disagreed and said that because Owry didn't upkeep the town and let it be overclaimed that it was his fault. | |||
On July 31st, 2024, two days before the end of his term, Owry attempted to purge the discord and steal the nation of Ireland. Owry's attempted purge of the discord was thwarted by former Hoyenahs Joigrama and Hambellux. Owry was successfully able to take the nation of Ireland as well as the town of Ireland, but due to Owry's main town, Noxus, being held by someone the North Sea Republic government was able to take it from him, as well as most items looted from the capital. | |||
