Laurentide's history dates back to the 15th of May where a dedicated player "CheesyTomatos" decided to help his friend's nation with recruiting and preventing overclaiming from nearby towns, soon enough, CheesyTomatos made his own town to do his own thing and recruit for the nation, at first things were going great. Still, the ever-growing concern of the inactivity of Labrador kept looming over the town's dedication. CheesyTomatos offered to buy Labrador for 600 gold which was the price Aland bought it for, 7kar swiftly rejected the offer and asserted his dominance over the colonials, It soon became clear that Verlied had no control or influence over his Nation which was considered to be a Province of Aland, and was forcefully under the jurisdiction of Aland due to it being purchased by the Alandian Monarch. Soon enough, Verlied attempted to get it sold to CheesyTomatos, where the first problems arrose in where diplomacy broke down between the two individuals, one who lived in the land claimed by the crown and one who lived across the Atlantic.
