'''WIP! Adding photos, history section, and notable residents soon.'''
Purest Pines is a town located in the Ontarian wilderness in Canada. It has been run by InternetCurtains almost continuously throughout its two-year-long lifespan, with help from the occasional comayor Bingy726. Purest Pines is part of the nation of Cascadia, situated in Manicouagan County, however it has been a member of six other nations in the past.
Purest Pines is split up into three main residential 'districts' surrounding the central Aquille District, which has been furbished and decorated extensively to give it a peaceful, natural feel. The town also contains an old replica of a Victorian-era English neighbourhood, built for a building contest; a fairly obsolete business district; rebuilt ruins of an old town; and two main areas of empty, undeveloped claims.
Purest Pines borders the separate town of Ontario and is also close to Chester Port, Kings, and Treasure Town, the capital of the nation of Hudson.
Throughout the course of its history, countless residents have been and gone, and the town's population peaked at 102 on 7 January 2025.

Chauser was the second district to be made in Purest Pines. Historically, it was meant to take up a clearing on the northern side of a river between it and the Aquille District. It was first built up in late 2023, from the James Bay to the Cree Era, but InternetCurtains demolished most of the buildings in 2024 so that it could be rebuilt later. InternetCurtains retained several buildings, however, such as the Disco Tower, a skyscraper built by former resident DiscoEwe4410090, whose apartments housed the first residents in the town; Bingy Estate, a large mansion built by InternetCurtains for comayor Bingy726; and the USSNA Perm Base, a military base deemed widely to be unsightly, built by banned player USFriskI.
Reconstruction of Chauser started in December 2024 during the Second Vermont Era at the height of Purest Pines, led by InternetCurtains and Bingy726 and built with help from BuilderBoy59, Amartine60, Jazbbwtyl, Platinum201547 and Aqualicorn, all of whom were residents of the town at the time. Progress was quick, and before long, an assortment of new buildings were completed, including InternetCurtains Estate, 'The Dives', a refurbished ice rail station, headquarters for the short-lived newspaper 'Purest Papers', and more. These buildings can be found in Chauser today.

Cordan was the first residential district to be built up, done so during the Cree Era. It is located in the northwestern part of town. Near the centre of the district is Cordan Plaza, a large, hollow building with an underground section containing an inn for residents, the Maple Tavern, an automatic music disc player, and Secondary Storage for the district. Flags of the nation of Cree are flown at the top of the building.
In October 2024, shortly before the foreseen acceleration in population of the town, this district was extended to the north to contain roughly twenty new plots for residents. Further expansion of the Cordan District - this time to the west - occurred in September 2025, for the same reason.

Mercer was the second residential district to be built, found just to the east of Aquille. Its plots contain borders made of flowering azalea leaves with smooth quartz slabs on top of them. The roads are built out of stripped dark oak wood.
The first three rows of the Mercer District (including the short, two-plot wide one closest to Aquille) were built first, with an extra row and outwards extensions to all rows emerging during November 2024. Overall, the Mercer District has over 50 plots, meaning that out of the three residential districts, it's able to house the most residents - theoretically. However, the outer two rows have been deemed abandoned officially due to the difficulty in demolishing the voluminous plots in them and their distance from the town spawn, and are upkept no longer, although Kevin484848 built an unfinished shopping centre at the edge of this part of the district in August 2025.
The 'Mercer Minipark' is located at the southern edge of the central rows, acting as a district centre similar to the Cordan Plaza and the Purest Pines CityPlace. It consists of two towers surrounded by a small park built originally by a resident called FlakeyYT.
A large undeveloped but claimed area is located to the south of Mercer directly, although this is not considered to be part of the district and is reserved for later use.

=== '''Cherry District''' ===
''No prizes for guessing where the name of the district comes from!''
The Cherry District is located south of Aquille. It bears several resemblances to the Aquille District, with a naturalistic, forested area (cherry-themed, in this case) to the north filled with memorabilia.
To the south, the Cherry District acts as a residential area, with cherry-tree-themed plot borders and roads. The easternmost road in the district was turned into an arcade by former resident Gheddochris. Merlin is a small, isolated district in the far northwestern part of the town. Almost all of it was built by the owners of the former town there of the same name: Zimzam2 and Hamsterpee. Not much is known about this town, and despite its lifespan stretching from early 2023 to the end of 2024, little contact was made with the owners.
However, around October 2024, Merlin 42-dayed finally, and Purest Pines claimed the town for later use, given its large size, close distance, and incredible beauty. Between these two points in time, the town was griefed moderately. Henceforth, it was rebuilt by InternetCurtains and Hyerin_ye in 2025. It serves no major purpose in Purest Pines currently, other than aesthetics.

FIX THIS FUCKING PART | |||
''InternetCurtains’ first months on EarthMC were spent largely in an inactive town called Maluku, part of the Aru Islands nation – situated around eastern Indonesia (not too far away to the west was the town of Albany, which at the time was massive and extremely populous). The town occupied a duo of small islands along with the nation capital, Iambetter. InternetCurtains logged on every single day, unlike every other person in the entire nation. Despite this, InternetCurtains stayed in Maluku for a good month or two, slowly but surely growing his wealth, knowledge of EarthMC and hoarding of items in a storage room. This was done with only two plots available to him (one which was used specifically for a farm), and the chance to make the occasional trip to Australia – a wasteland of ruined towns at this point – via a short boat ride south.
InternetCurtains was enjoying his time in Maluku, but one day in June of 2023, he decided it would be fun to make his own town. The first location to found the town that came to mind to him was Canada. Not only was it vast but it was ruled by pines and solitude at the time, not towns, per se. There was a lot of room for a town to develop without it having to worry about anything like its nearby neighbours. InternetCurtains didn’t mine; his only source of gold was from the two voting websites, which he voted on every day. This meant that the process of getting 64 gold to found a town would be slow and difficult. However, this meant that a lot of time was given to InternetCurtains to plan out the town before it was built.
While the 64 gold was being collected, InternetCurtains made regular journeys to eastern Canada in search for a solid place to found his town. Eventually, he found the perfect location somewhere in Quebec, to the east of James Bay. Unfortunately, though, he lost the coordinates to this place.
Then, while finding his way through Ontario, InternetCurtains came across a small clearing. There was a flat middle section, a part that stretched out from the main area, a river that led to an even larger clearing and an array of ponds which could be combined into a decent lake. In this clearing, InternetCurtains could visualise the construction of a peaceful, humble town. He knew that this was the picture-perfect, unspoiled location he had been searching for.
Thus, the planning of this town was now underway.
The original idea was to build some sort of town centre in the middle of the small clearing. Around the perimeter of pine trees, pre-built houses for residents would be built, each one alluding to a certain type of wood.
A few days before the process of getting 64 gold for the town was complete, InternetCurtains left Maluku, farewelling the town via signs at his plot, and joined New Kaliningrad, which at the time was medium-sized and around the area. It had recently become the nation capital of James Bay. He claimed a pre-built house there without consent of the mayor, USFriskI, (InternetCurtains would later learn that residents of this town were doomed to living without their own plots or support or anything, making the addition of prebuilt houses ever so slightly dubious) who InternetCurtains never even spoke to until a couple of months later. He put all of the valuable items he had taken with him from Maluku into the pre-built house.
InternetCurtains started construction on the town centre first, before the town was actually founded. It was very simple: a small wooden structure took up most of a chunk. The walls were made of spruce planks with entrances of air (no doors or anything else) on each of the four corners. Five blocks up was the roof: a flat ceiling of orange glass with a perimeter of spruce planks from the walls. The floor was a simple mosaic of sorts, with four different types of wood around each corner entrance. In the centre was a four-by-four entrance into what was proposed to be the town storage, where InternetCurtains would put his things. At first, this was small and compact, but it did the job, since Purest Pines was nowhere near as large as it would be several months later, and InternetCurtains’ vision for most certainly did not include his town being a popular capital of a well-known and active nation, nor being the second-largest town in the third-largest nation on the server. The chests were countable and the walls were made cheaply of deepslate. From what was described, it may seem like this town centre was detailed, but it really wasn’t; it was incredibly simple, and not too eye-catching, either, but for InternetCurtains’ plan to make his dream humble town, it seemed alright. It actually took quite a long time for him to build this town centre despite how straightforward it was, and InternetCurtains was almost killed by a duo of hunters approaching him once while he was making it, only to be saved by a player called Peace_of_Poo who owned the town of Feces_Island_2, which took up real life Akimiski and was reasonably close to Internet’s town. This player alerted him through DMs, so InternetCurtains was able to run to a nearby nether portal just in time and wait for the hunters to disappear. The names of these two hunters have faded away in time.
On the 27th of June, 2023, InternetCurtains finally managed to get 64 gold to found Purest Pines. He headed over to the clearing once again and left New Kaliningrad.
This marked the start of an exceptionally extensive journey governed by InternetCurtains himself – a lengthy one filled with fallen heros, motivational loss, countless players, and so, so much more. One that InternetCurtains and so many other people will never forget, one that changed the course of a few select player’s lives, of whom most had not even touched the server yet at this point. This very moment defined so many things that can be seen all around eastern Canada, New England, Quebec and further afield.

WIP! Adding photos, history section, and notable residents soon.
Districts
Purest Pines is split up into six distinct districts. Some of these districts are residential, whereas others serve different purposes.
Aquille
'Accueillir' - 'to host' in French
Aquille is located near the centre of the town. It is the oldest district in the town, and is where the town spawn building - the Third Endeavour - is located. In the north of this district is Aquille Reserve, a naturalistic park home to various memorabilia from throughout the town's history, plus town embassies. The Purest Pines CityPlace - a large, cuboidal building containing prebuilt apartments for residents and the Primary Storage Unit - is located in this district as well.
A pathway in Aquille Reserve leading to the Chauser District.
Chauser
Named after an unknown French infinitive verb

Cordan
Derived from 'Cordoba', the Argentine city
Cordan was the first residential district to be built up, done so during the Cree Era. It is located in the northwestern part of town. Its plots contain simplistic borders made of flowering azalea leaves, with narrow roads connecting them made of polished deepslate, loyal to the trademark formula that all residential areas in Purest Pines follow.
View of the older part of the district from the top of Cordan Plaza, taken on 4 October 2024.
Mercer
Mercer is just a nice name

Cherry District
No prizes for guessing where the name of the district comes from!
Three small, near-identical structures at the wilderness end of the three roads in the district commemorate the first three nations that Purest Pines joined: Canada, James Bay, and Laurentia.

Merlin
Original name of the town located there initially

History
Purest Pines has an incredibly broad and rich history. Throughout its two years of existence, the town has manifested itself in seven separate nations, changing nations on eight occasions. Hence, its history is split up into the eight distinct eras that follow:
- Canada Era (27 June 2023 to 20 August 2023)

- Laurentia Era (9 September 2023 to 23 October 2023)
- Cree Era (23 October 2023 to 23 March 2024)
- First Vermont Era (23 March 2024 to 23 September 2024)
- Ontario Era (23 September 2024 to 17 November 2024)
- Second Vermont Era (17 November 2024 to 11 July 2025)
- Cascadia Era (11 July 2025 to present)
The Cree Era, First Vermont Era and Ontario Era all beginning on the 23rd is entirely coincidental. Note to self: Add number of days of each era
In the following subchapters, an overview of these eras will be provided. The events that occurred in these eras are provided in a timeline form to make them easier and less daunting to read. An introductory pre-Canadian-Era subchapter is given as well.
