The Farosh Court refers to the period of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Cascadia since January 20, 2026, when Farosh was sworn in as the eighth Chief Justice of Cascadia. Farosh_ had served as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court prior to appointment as Chief Justice, and succeeded WrestlingWithGod in that position.
This era of the court is ongoing, with Akeboun v. BergenFly being the only case ruled on by the court as of February 1, 2026. Farosh, who previously served as an associate justice in the Second WrestlingWithGod court and the tail end of the Sayerleft court, was marked as one of the court's more liberal members. Thus, the Farosh court, and its new member, Milgorn123 (also an ideological liberal), is expected to be a return to the liberal tradition of the Sayerleft court that briefly shifted conservative under the tenure of WrestlingWithGod.

Nomination of Milgorn123
Upon Farosh's uncontroversial confirmation as Chief Justice after being nominated by president KayP7, Kay nominated former president and secretary of state Milgorn123 to fill Farosh's associate justice post. This resulted in an extremely contentious and controversial nomination battle in the House of Representatives, in which Rep. LadyEsquimalt brought up past allegations against Milgorn123 of bias against her as an admin, of which he was found civilly liable in LadyEsquimalt v. Milgorn123 (2025). This sparked a fight between factions in the House broadly sympathetic to LadyEsquimalt especially following her newfound popularity with the Grousian community after her exodus to Vermont, and the Vermont community having been integrated into Cascadia. Despite initial pushback and the appearance that the vote would fail to reach the three-fifths of the total membership necessary for confirmation, supporters of the nominee were able to convince enough representatives, many from former Vermont, to vote in favor of the nominee. The nomination was passed 14-6, with 3 abstentions, and Milgorn took office on the court on January 22, 2026.
