Galati is a town part of the Kingdom of Carpathia situated at the confluence of the Prut and Danube rivers in the south-eastern region of Moldova. Founded on 17 May 2026 by danyyboss07 during the server's pre-launch period, Galati is the second oldest Romanian settlement after the neighbouring town of Tulcea, a political, cultural and diplomatic center of the Romanian national movement and one of the founding towns of Carpathia. Galati aspires to become the architectural and commercial midst of the Carpathian nation with various imposing builds and an active port being planned across the northern bank of the Danube river.
History
Galati was founded by danyyboss07 on 17 May 2026 during Terra Nostra's pre-launch period, it is the second oldest Romanian settlement after the neighbouring town of Tulcea and the oldest in the region of Moldova. Galati played a significant role in the formation of the early Romanian Union (which later developed into the Kingdom of Carpathia) by gathering other Romanian and Romanian-larping players together. Galati amongst many others such Brasov, Bucharest, Transylvania, Adjud, Tirgu Mures and Iasi was one of the founding towns of Carpathia.
The town has focused itself onto building impressive builds from its beginning, the Galati Townhall, resembling a Renaissance-style manor becomes the administrative headquarter and the social center of the town for the meanwhile.
