History
<u><big>Early History</big></u>
Florida was in a head to head battle with the rivaling nation of Sunbelt. While they were close to acquiring the name of Florida the battle was in the end
won by the Great State of Florida. While Sunbelt fought hard they ended up settling with the name they have. Unfortunately, our neighbors were robbed and lost their gold in the end leading to what is now the ruins of Disney springs.Florida did try to work with the leader Raptormm4 but never received a response.

Early History
Florida's history began with Senpaii_soupp landing in the Wisconsin region of the United States. From there, she began the long journey south, running for roughly an hour until she reached the location where Miami's first chunk would eventually be claimed.
The Primitive start
Floridas History began with Senpaii_soupp Landing in the Wisconsin area of the United States. She ran for roughly one hour to get to
the spot Miami's first chunk was. Once she arrive in Florida soup began the grind to get 64 gold to create Miami. She was able to do this in about 2 hours on April 17th 2026.
In this time xthewardenx and Crisp017 Had landed in Siberia and were trying to get to America. Once Soup created Miami the Grind to create Florida began. On April 21st 2026 The Nation of Florida was created thanks to the efforts of our team.

Once she arrived in Florida, Soup immediately began the grind to gather the 64 gold needed to create Florida's first town. After roughly two hours of gathering, Miami was officially created on April 17th, 2026. This marked the beginning of what would eventually become the Nation of Florida.

While Soup was making her way to Florida and establishing Miami, xTheWardenx and Crisp017 had landed in Siberia and were making their own journey toward the United States. Once Soup had established Miami, the focus shifted toward gathering the resources needed to create the Nation of Florida.

The early days were not without competition, however. Shortly after the creation of Miami, the Florida team found itself in a head-to-head battle with the rival nation of Sunbelt over the claim to the name of Florida.  After several days of gathering resources and working toward the creation of the nation, the efforts of the group finally paid off. Sunbelt came extremely close to securing the name for themselves, but in the end, the battle was won by the Great State of Florida. Sunbelt ultimately accepted the outcome and settled with the name they have today. On April 21st, 2026, the Nation of Florida was officially created, with Miami becoming its first town and the foundation of the new nation.

<u><big>History</big></u>
Despite the rivalry, the two nations of Florida and Sunbelt were able to come to an agreement and establish a period of cooperation. This agreement became known as the Tampa Accords, under which Sunbelt would take responsibility for creating Disney World while Florida would manage the rest of the state. Unfortunately, Sunbelt's plans for Disney World would not last. The nation was robbed and lost the gold it had gathered for the project, leaving the planned Disney World unfinished. What remained of the project would eventually become what is now known as the Ruins of Disney Springs.

Florida attempted to continue working with Sunbelt's leadership, including reaching out to its leader, Raptormm4, in hopes of maintaining the cooperation established by the Tampa Accords. However, Florida never received a response, and further cooperation between the two nations ultimately came to an end.
As Florida continued to grow, it began working with other nations in the region to establish the Memphis Accords. The Accord established recognized national borders and helped secure peace between the major nations of North America. The agreement was signed by the Republic of Acadia, Commonwealth of America, Florida, Estados Unidos Mexicanos (United Mexican States), State of New York, Republic of Texas, and the United States Empire.

The Memphis Accords became an important part of Florida's early diplomatic history. The agreement helped establish Florida's relationships with several nations across North America and provided a foundation for further diplomatic agreements.

Following the Memphis Accords, Florida continued to work with other nations and establish new diplomatic relationships. Florida would go on to sign several additional agreements, including the Florida Quebec Non-Aggression Pact, the Florida Cuba Friendship Pacts, and the Canadian Friendship Pact.

The Florida Quebec Non-Aggression Pact established peaceful relations between Florida and Quebec and ensured that both nations would avoid conflict with one another. The Florida Cuba Friendship Pacts strengthened the relationship between Florida and Cuba and established a closer friendship between the two nations. The Canadian Friendship Pact further strengthened Florida's relationship with Canada and established another important diplomatic connection within North America.

These agreements became an important part of Florida's development and helped establish the nation as a peaceful and cooperative member of the North American community.

Florida was also a part of the signing of the American Protection Pact, with the nations of California, Canada, Zion, Arizona, Baja, Texas, and Florida. To assure the shared integrity and safety of the stated nations. Pledging to uphold the mutual defense, cooperation, and collaboration of the North American Nations

<u>The First Era 2026</u>
The First Era began with the opening of Florida's national spawn, Wave Mart. The shop's main products are Haste VIII and potions, while also offering building blocks, concrete, and other supplies. Florida also began creating Haste VIII map art advertisements to advertise Wave Mart throughout the server.

NoiseEbay Florida's redstone expert and helped create the machines used throughout Wave Mart.

During this time, Florida also formed NASA and began its first attempts at reaching space. xTheWardenx successfully reached space but became stuck and was eventually forced to die to return to Earth. Rredeyejedi assisted Warden during the attempt to get him back. Despite the problems with the mission, Florida successfully established an outpost on the Moon.

Back in Florida, Crisp017 began construction of the NASA Headquarters in the town of Cape Canaveral, which will serve as the main headquarters for Florida's space program.

Tensions within the South
Despite the peace established by the Memphis Accords and the Florida Quebec Non-Aggression Pact, relations between Florida and the Quebecois mega-nation grew strained as Quebec pursued an aggressive strategy of expansion across the continent. Rather than confront Florida, Quebec began extending its influence into the southern United States by funding Alabama, hoping to draw it into its sphere and expand its mega-nation's footprint in the region. Note that this is not the first nation it has funded within its mega-nation.

<br>
Instead of talking, Florida was met with insults and threats from Quebecois leadership, specifically AvocadoApache, who then also disbanded the NAP between the nations.
Recognizing the threat this posed to Florida's regional standing, Florida moved to counter the play directly. Bypassing Quebec entirely, Florida opened its own diplomatic channel with Alabama, working to build a relationship independent of Quebec's influence. The effort succeeded, leading to Florida and Alabama forming their own alliance.
The tension with Quebec proved to be a turning point for Florida's foreign policy.

<br>
In its aftermath, Florida moved to consolidate its regional alliances, joining the Western Accords with Cuba and further strengthening the ties first established under the Florida Cuba Friendship Pacts.
