In June 2026, '''Kazuuuu_0821''' and his associate '''Snoocomics9452''' left EMC and traveled to Lanfang, citing dissatisfaction with the situation in Hong Kong. They subsequently took over the administration of Kuching from MindedPercy.

Kazuuuu_0821 and his associates initially made significant contributions to the development of Kuching. However, controversy arose over map art produced by them and sold through the Lanfang shop. They also became involved in repeated disputes with other Lanfang players and sought intervention from the Lanfang administration, citing alleged personal insults.
On June 13, while the Lanfang shop was temporarily closed for renovations, Kazuuuu_0821 established a shop in Kuching under the Lanfang name. The shop subsequently attracted controversy over what other players perceived as anti-Chinese conduct, including insults directed at Guangzhou shops in the Chinese-language channel.

Borneo constitutes the historical homeland of Lanfang. The Kapuas River, the longest river within Lanfang, flows into the South China Sea at Khuntien, the country's capital.


Carmines_ traveled to Vietnam and established Saigon, while MindedPercy established Kuching at the location corresponding to the real-world city of the same name.
Most of Lanfang has a tropical rainforest climate and is extensively forested. The Kinabalu Mountain Plateau in northeastern Borneo and the area around Saigon are the main exceptions, being characterized by savanna.
