The American Passenger Railroad Corporation, doing business as Amtrak, is a multinational organization overseeing the planning, development, construction, and operation of public transportation in North America. Headquartered at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, America, the organization works both to construct an international icerail system and more local systems in large cities. The subway systems of Philadelphia (SEPTA) and Chicagoland (CTA) operate under the Amtrak brand with autonomy.

Founded on August 4th, 2026, Amtrak was made to streamline international icerail cooperation between North American nations with the goal of having equal standards for high quality public travel across all nations.

Standards

For national icerail systems, blue ice must be used and placed within y=8 so that you stand on y=9. The track is 2 blocks wide, ice should be staggered with gaps of 3 blocks, the pattern shifted two blocks on the other half so that the complete pattern forms C shaped gaps around the ice blocks; this configuration requires the least amount of ice while allowing perfectly fine travel.
