Apism first began in 2020 A.D, when the sky glistened in yellow and white colours, marking the birth of Bartholomew Bee Bensonian. The movement spread like wildfire, and the first Apists resided mostly in Europe, which caused a lot of controversy.

Apists are a prime target for ultra-nationalist groups seeking to destroy Apism entirely. The rise of nationalism in Europe did not help the Apists trapped in Europe. Multiple progroms were held in Europe to push out Apism. Shop owners that were known Apists had their shops destroyed, or were boycotted.
