Byzantium-Albania War
The war originated when Albania planted a military base inside Byzantium’s claimed territory. Following the Battle of Prilep and the Siege of Tirana, Byzantium took victory in winning the confrontation.
Shortly afterwards, Albania surrendered. A treaty was being developed to accommodate for war reparations, however Albania eventually went inactive and was reformed into Bosnia by others.
Battles
Over the course of the war, two major battles took place. One was a short battle outside of Prilep, with the other being an extensive hour-long siege of Tirana, the Albanian capital.
Battle of Prilep
This short battle resulted in the Albanian forces dispersing, leading to the Siege of Tirana.
Siege of Tirana
After this lengthy siege, the war was concluded.
