• Ethiopia (May 2020) or Ethiopia (Mersa), a nation that was based in Mersa with the name of 'Ethiopia', who took over control of most Nubian lands during mid-May 2020.
• Ethiopia (Imperial), a nation that was based in Gondar with the name of 'Ethiopia', and, prior, 'Ethiopian Empire', who formally controlled most of Eritrea and northern Ethiopian region, before merging into Nubia.
