Haida was originally formed by independence from Cascadia in early December 2019, but rejoined Cascadia twice in 2020, once in February, once in May before leaving again in January of 2021 for a brief period. Then Fracturued_Soul proceeded to cause a war between the nations which resulted in Haida rejoining Cascadia on February 2nd, 2021. It is well-known for its well-maintained parkland and forests.

In April 2021, Haida dissolved and united with the Cascadian Province of Columbia to form the Province of Columbia & Haida Gwaii within Cascadia. This union did not last very long, as 32Oreo decided to retire from EMC, and Oilerator was designated as the Governor of Haida. In June 2021, Oilerator decided to leave the union as he felt it was useless and that Haida did not benefit from the union. It is once again an indpendent province of Cascadia.

Previously, as an independent nation, Haida was a monarchy, which had been effective and had led to Haida being able to stand its ground even when caught in the crossfire of a war taking place on the mainland.

On September 4th, 2020, the Province of Haida established a provincial legislature for provincial political issues. Each town mayor of Haida, as well as then Deputy Governor Oilerator were assigned as Members of Provincial Parliament (MPP). It uses essentially the same format as the Cascadian parliament, where any MPP could propose a change in the parliament and all the MPPs vote on whether or not the change shall be implemented.  

Masset is Haida's capital town, being founded by 32Oreo originally at the site of Port Clements today. The current town was settled prior to 32Oreo's arrival on the island of Haida Gwaii by Multicody10 and TheFirstHourrr under the name of Kiusta. It grew gradually to encompass the northern portion of Haida Gwaii. It is the tourism and economic hub for the Kingdom. It also hosts an embassy from the Union of [[British Columbia]].

Haida is connected to the rest of Cascadia by the Trans Cascadia Highway which is a highway that traverses from Slave Lake to Wyoming with several branching highways that come off of it and head to other destinations. Haida formerly administered its own highway system, but it adopted the Cascadia highway system after Oilerator started construction of the Trans Cascadia Highway.

 

 

The HaidaTransit Ice Metro is an ice metro that is being developed mostly by the government of Haida. It currently connects several Cascadian Provinces. It currently connects the Provinces of Haida, Cascadia, Columbia, and Tlingit. It is planned to eventually connect to Astoria and the bigger iceway network.
