Following Nubia's withdrawal from the Yemeni Empire, the nation experienced a short period of unrest as certain individuals within the nation had been upset with the resulting situation. The nation quickly stabilized and focus was turned to a potential war with Yemen. Although no declaration of war was made by either side, large amounts of toxicity, propaganda as well as occasional raiding occurred. On June 2<sup>nd</sup>, 2020, Nubia occupied western Yemen in response to a raid. Following this incident, any remaining diplomatic relations between the nations were severed. This situation occurred until June 20<sup>th</sup> when the town of Mersa attempted to make a suburb across the red sea.
