On the 21st and 23rd of January, the Japanese had announced false claims of Chinese nations switching to Japan's side, and the unconditional surrender of the Chinese Union to the Japanese. These false claims caused the Chinese Union to gather more allies, including Antarctica and Joseon. This period ended with the further expansion of Dandong and the establishment of the Japanese colony of Xixia in Central China, which switched over the battle theatre from PingXingGuan.
