==='''February Decline'''===

The month of January was truly a great month for the Canadian Rockies. However, as they tried to keep up with the impending decline in population, it did not benefit it whatsoever. In the first week of February, particularly February 1-2, the Rockies went from a population of 187 to 96. The population continued to decrease throughout the beginning and into mid month. The number of towns went from 21 to 12 in about 1 week. However, the number of towns was soon brought to 11 due to the city of Portland leaving on February 18th. The reasoning for leaving was described by MegaPatato, the Portland mayor. "I am leaving CR, all I see it now is as sewage", were the words of Patato. It now remains in Cascadia. After that, the nation was at an all time low of 41 citizens. However, it did not break the record of inactivity previously in November.
=== '''The March Merge''' ===

The Canadian Rockies elected PhantomXYZ_ as Chancellor for the month of March. The nation itself slowly began to grow as Chancellor of British Columbia, K1, was waking up the Union by funding many competitions, in which towns could grow and expand. The Canadian Rockies then decided it would be beneficial to merge with the core nation of British Columbia. With a vote of 8-0, the nation decided its fate, and merged. Many good things came out of this. The core nation of British Columbia jumped from 12 citizens to 173 in just under 2 weeks, and reached /n list 1 on March 24, 2021.
