Portugal refused to remove the town, | Portugal refused to remove the town, which led Spain to do also plant one. That day ended up with a small battle between the 2 nations at the planted town. 2 days later Spain tried sending a final ultimatum demanding to return their old original borders before this conflict or they would declare war. Portugal put out a voting poll to its citizens and most of them voted to stay strong and not give up. Spain saw this and decided to officially declare war on Portugal on November 6th, 2019. | ||
