Aurora:New Mexico

The New Mexican Empire, usually referred to as New Mexico is a North American nation in the US state of New Mexico, Bordering Mexico, Nevada, and Texas. It's capital is the City of Las Vegas. It is a parliamentary monarchy, with an elected ministry and grand councillor.

History

Pre-History

After the Greater Finnish empire learned of the oncoming reset, PrimeCyber, Pancat, And AghastBlock had started drafting plans for our future nation projects in Terra Aurora, PrimeCyber originally went to make Yugoslavia, while the rest went into the southwest, to make Texas and Arizona. PrimeCyber would join them afterwards, planning to make New Mexico.

Pre Nation

After the release of early access Aurora on May 1st, me and my friends had joined as soon as release had happened, we we're quick to grind at the start, making Las_Vegas on May 2nd, and shortly after making the towns of Santa_Fe and Albeuquerque as well, however we had quickly lost momentum afterwards, with Pancat and Aghast becoming inactive, and New Mexico as well.

Founding

The nation of Chad, one of our old colony, had a 4.1 nation in Canada, MikeyDubous had selflessly offered us the nation for free, with us paying for the transport of the nations capital to Las Vegas, and so... The nation of New Mexico was founded on June 26, 2022.

Shortly after on the 30th it join the USA alliance and signed a non-aggression pact with the Kingdom of Texas.

The African nation of Chad was under New Mexico from the 24th (predating New Mexico itself) to the 29th of June when they unceremoniously left the New Mexican Empire, with MikeyDubois joining New Mexico afterwards.

The nation of Cascadia joined New Mexico on July 19th, shortly after its founding, the Oregon empire declared war on Cascadia, Cascadia would quickly grow during the ensuing war and rivalry.

The foundation era

With the nation of New Mexico and Cascadia being made later the other nations, we we're behind our neighbors expansion wise, however during the summer months, both states would rapidly expand quickly.

Democratic reforms would be made after our expanding playerbase and size, with the first elections for the ministry and grand councillor starting on July 26th.
