Grytviken is a town located in the South Atlantic, founded on May 30th 2023 by Porbei. It has close ties to the continent of Antarctica, and the Antarctic Union by extention. They are currently in the process of forming a nation in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
History
Upon its founding, the town quickly grew to be the joint-biggest nationless town in terms of population. Additionally, a ruined Castle was repaired to build the Grytviken Castle prior to the formation of the town. A parliament based on the Liechtensteiner Landtag was constructed on the 9th June 2023 - with the town (and nation by extention, though unofficial) holding its first electon the subsequent day.
