On May 2nd the grind for the nation started, with the population of both towns given the task to mine and contribute with gold for the nation. Since the world was brand new, and the caves were unexplored, gold was abundant during this time, thus making it easier to mine large amounts of it. At the end of May 2nd, the goal of 2048 gold was almost 60% reached. The next day on May 3rd, the climate in Brazil was of excitement as everyone active that day wanted to complete the goal as fast as possible.
