The Second Zealandian War is an ongoing conflict that began on July 23, 2024, following a series of disputes and killings between Zealandians and Havaikians.
History
Beginning
The Second Zealandian War began on July 23, 2024, subsequent to the emergence of rampant killings and disputes between two major Aotearoa nations, Zealandia and Havaiki. Reportedly, these attacks were instigated by the Havaikians.
Atua Offensive
Soon after the war declaration, Zealandia initiated an offensive on Havaiki's capital, Atua. Through overclaim, the Zealandians were able to claim a portion of the city. The offensive is ongoing.
July 24 Raid
The following day, on July 24, 2024, a raid on Atua began, resulting in more land being overclaimed. This led to half of Atua's capital building being taken over by the Zealandian town of Silverwood, along with the portion of Atua already captured previously.
Presence of Havaikian troops in Zealandian territory
Due to the active war and territory claimed from Atua, Havaikian troops were spotted patrolling around Zealandia frequently. Some camped outside towns, most notably Rakiura and Port Jason, while others simply wandered around the wilderness in pursuit of any Zealandian citizens, trying to lure them out from claims to kill them.
