After the Baltic Economic Union slowly declined and its most prominent member - Prussia - was sold and went inactive, REK3k came up with an idea to unite Estonia under one banner, one nation. At that time the Baltics were severely divided between different nations, rulers and foreign powers.

On March 22th, 2024 REK3k got a nation for free from Hubbayes - the mayor of Hanko, and renamed it to Baltic, because the name of Estonia was already taken by TRIDENTY. With this the newly founded Baltic nation, in a pretty clumsy way, separated from GDL and became its own, independent entity.
