The agency was officially created on November 21st, 2024, with the passing of the Defense Reorganization Act of 2024, though its unofficial predecessor within the [[Cascadia Department of Defense|Department of Defense]] had existed since February 28th, 2024. Since then, it has played a major role in Cascadia's defense planning and foreign policy, including during the Great American War.
