Marechall

Marechall is a Brazilian player on the EarthMC server, known for his prominent political and cultural influence during the Terra Nova era and his more limited, though notable, participation in Terra Aurora.

Tired of just playing hypixel, he enters in the server to have a new experience. Right when he enters, the player Olivio90 saw him speaking Portuguese and invited him to Brazil. Marechall decided to go to the town of Campinas instead of staying in Mehinaku

History

Early History

In the early days, Marechall builds his house and explores Brazil. He doesn't talk to many people, either on discord or minecraft, with the exception of v_Rodo and Olivio90. His house was a wooden tower with a rounded base, he had a plantation behind the house (in another chunk) and a pine plantation in the front Chunk. He bought some eggs at Spawn do Brasil and thus had his first pets, one of which was called "Galinácea", which would be a chicken that was considerably important to the history of Marechall and Brazil.

At the end of January, trying to do an "experiment", Marechall leaves his town and is only able to return a few hours later, when v_Rodo enters the server. He stayed around 10 minutes in persagadae, where Olivio90 allowed him to stay to get some diamonds.

Beginning of political career

On January 18, 2021, Marechall was invited by NartMasterZ to run in the first election of the new political system in Brazil. Initially, he refused, but later he accepted to run for election. At that time the Marechall didn't know that it was a crime to ask a person to run for office. When he found out, he decided not to sue him. Marechall was unable to get into the senate, he was in 11th position and there were 10 vacancies, he tied with sandor, who, for having applied earlier, took the position. At the end of January, Greekenderman, senator and king of Uruguay (at the time part of Brazil), sold Uruguay and left the nation, thus Marechall was first in the "senate line of succession", becoming a senator.

Brazilian Wipe Genocide

Brazilian Wipe Genocide, basically, was when the plugin to kill animals when they are "high amount" in a chunk, added along with 1.16. Marechall was greatly affected by it, as several of his chickens died, including Galinácea. The chicken received a statue and became a sort of national mascot for a time.

The event effectively boosted his political career, while also shaping the culture of EMC Brazil.

Kicked out of town

The mayor of his town, V_Rodo, couldn't return before being deleted, so the oldest player in town, who at the time was called tino, becomes mayor and kicks out Marechall, stealing almost all of his items except the gold and your equipment.

After being expelled, Marechal stays for a few minutes in Money (Brazil), waiting for Vargario and Olivio90. Vargario, until then mayor of Vitoria, wanted to leave Brazil and needed someone to be mayor in his place. As Marechall had been kicked out of his town a few minutes earlier and was a reliable and active player, Olivio90 decides to give the town of Vitoria to him.

Political career

In February, Marechall was re-elected senator, almost missing out on the senate. In March he decides not to run, but becomes Minister of Infrastructure. In April, he decides to run and he is surprised, since he was the second most voted senator. He also remained a minister. In May, he was re-elected as senator and subsequently became Chancellor. During this same period, the presidential elections were marked by controversy. The opposition candidate, Hungrey, who was running against ArtistGames and TomatoesVThe, began recruiting large numbers of new residents and instructing them to vote in his favor, an action that violated electoral norms, as campaigning or requesting votes outside Brazil’s official Discord server was prohibited. Despite clear evidence, including a publicly shared document listing the recruited voters, Hungrey faced no punishment and ultimately won the election. The incident later led to the creation of new electoral regulations, including a rule barring residents with less than two weeks of activity from voting, in order to prevent similar abuses in the future.

He was a senator on several other occasions and vice-president, in addition to being a strong defender of monarchism and having played a significant role in supporting the establishment of a monarchy in Brazil. At the same time, he openly defended a feudal political model.

In Terra Aurora, Marechall’s influence was notably reduced compared to his prominence in Terra Nova. His participation was largely limited to the early stages of the map, during which he was involved in political maneuvering, including participation in a partially successful coup conspiracy.

Vitoria and other towns

In the early days in Vitoria, Marechall expands the town, builds the streets and the old spawn, which was destroyed. A short time later he manages to recruit the first residents. When the urban planning of Vitória was about to be implemented, Terra Aurora began. In Aurora, he founded the city of Curitiba and later moved to Rio de Janeiro.
