Nostra:Angara

Angara, not to be confused with the previous incarnation of Angara on Terra Aurora, is a nation located in Siberia, near the titular Angara River. It was founded during Nostra's early access, on April 26th, 2026. The nation consists of 38 citizens spread amongst 12 towns, with the city of Minerva serving as its capital. It is currently one of, if not, the most remote nation on Terra Nostra.

History

Plans for Angara's reemergence on Nostra began shortly after the announcement of EarthMC's then impending reset in April 2025. Angara's main playerbase remains almost completely unchanged from Aurora, as many of Aurora Angara's most active citizens decided to stick with the nation through reset, notably, Angara's leader StarkeOG.

From the start, the main plans for Nostra Angara was for the nation to not only include a megashop in its capital city (something that was planned for Aurora Angara, but was cancelled once reset was announced), as well as a much larger emphasis on industry and mass production compared to Aurora. The capital city name of Minerva was decided, named after the Roman Goddess Minerva, whom represents wisdom, commerce and art, all themes that Minerva, and by extension, all of Angara wishes to embody.

Government

As opposed to Aurora Angara, Nostra Angara has not currently implemented any official form of government, aside from holding small votes among the most active citizens. This is subject to change as population increases.
