History

Pre-Launch (March 11th 2026 - April 17th 2026)

Sweden was planned to be created by Hubbayes and ChrisNoSignal on some-time during early February of 2026, both players had ran the nation Suomi on the previous iteration of EarthMC; Terra Aurora.

• March 11, 2026: Hubbayes and ChrisNoSignal began planning the creation of the nation of Sweden through Discord, they discussed potential conflicts of interests names for the nation and claim area.
• March 16, 2026: The first name chosen for Sweden was The Kingdom of Sweden so the nation could be shortened to simply TKS, an announcement was made in the new Swedish Discord server.

Early Growth (April 17th, 2026 - September 8th, 2026)

The Early Growth Period signified a period of consolidation, growth, and transformation for Sweden, including a temporary rebranding and focus shift.

• April 17, 2026: Hubbayes and ChrisNoSignal joined EarthMC and waited in queue for multiple hours while waiting for the Early Access to begin, once they got in they both spawned in very unfortunate locations, Chris spawned in Eastern Canada and Hubba spawned in Western Australia, the both began navigating to Sweden via boat however due to server lag this would have taken several hours, luckily The_Estonian_Guy spawned in Northern Africa which allowed him to head north, he agreed to help Hubba and Chris with creating the nation and so he worked on creating a town, for the two to join and teleport to, he created the town of Tallinn shortly after and both Hubba and Chris used it to get to the Stockholm area, shortly after the town of Stockholm was founded.

• April 18, 2026: Just a day later Huxf of PLC claimed the island of Gotland which was within Swedish claim maps, this started the on-going feud between both nations. Hubba and Chris began to try and start talks with PLC over this via their discord however these talks were not successful with the leaders of PLC being very defensive.

• June 15, 2026: By this time the nation of Poland had been at war with PLC for over 2 weeks, as Sweden was at odds with PLC they took the side of Poland, the leader Mlecz sent a document exposing PLC which included multiple instances of PLC leaders and high-ranking members using slurs such as the n-word, due to this Sweden made the decision to officially denounce PLC, they reposted the Polish document along with all discussions with PLC in which PLC were the aggressors.

• August 6, 2026: Gustaf_MJR who was Minister of Foreign Affairs at the time secured an ally-ship with the North American nation of Zion. Shortly after the contract was signed the leader the nation of Cascadia began breaking claim agreements with Zion so as allies Sweden decided to denounce their actions in a public announcement.

• August 29, 2026: The nation of Nordic split from Norway at the beginning of the month, around the 6th they began expanding into Swedish claims, Hubba and Chris made a group chat with Grenv, Anders and Only_Youtube of Nordic to discuss these claims, however 2 weeks later Nordic had not given any meaningful answers and progress was not being made so after warnings the decision was made to declare war on Nordic.

• September 8, 2026: After Hubbayes stepped down Chris made the decision to end the war, Nordic was arguably on the losing end of the war with them facing multiple casualties and wasting of gold, however Chris felt like the war was useless so with the assistance of Gustaf_MJR they finally came to terms that worked for both Sweden and Nordic which finally ended the war.

The Thrive (September 9th, 2026 - Current)

The Thrive marked Sweden's area of growth of expanse with new leadership, allies and foundation to work off of.

• September 9, 2026: Hubbayes stepped down from Diarch the day before due to various irl factors, for a few hours ChrisNoSignal was the only King, however with Gustaf_MJR created dozens of strong allies and with him taking on the role of Regent while Chris was busy, he decided to appoint Gustaf as Diarch along-side him.

International Relations

• Zion: Zion is a Republic located in Utah and the Rocky mountains in North America, They are allies with Sweden, it only started since Gustaf_MJR is friends with them and both nations had shown each other public support for one another during times of needs.

• Russia: Russia is a Kingdom located in the Saint Petersburg's region and it goes the same for Zion since AndrewKase is friends with ChrisNoSignal and Hubbayes, and both nations has supported one another during times of need.
