The [[Aurora:2025-26 Formula One World Championship|2025-26 World Championship]] saw the British driver on the backfoot in comparison to teammate [[Bubuxcx]] after only finishing on the podium twice in the first half of the season whilst Bubu won four of the races. Gabe seemed to resurge after beating 2025s rival F1rret to victory at the [[Aurora:2025-26 Rostov Grand Prix|2025-26 Rostov Grand Prix]] and ahead of Bubu. This was met with a second victory with a win at his home Grand Prix in [[Aurora:2025-26 Medan Grand Prix|Medan]] before he failed to finish on the podium until the [[Aurora:2025-26 British Grand Prix|British Grand Prix]] where he ended his season early having secured the World Constructors Championship for Renault with Bubu winning his first and only World Drivers Championship and retiring. Gabe finished the season in third. Despite Renault being acquired by French capitals ahead of the [[Nostra:2026 Formula One World Championship|2026 season]], Gabe chose to resign his contract with the team, pairing with [[User:32Talvi|_talvi]]. He missed the first two races of the season, securing 7th at the [[Nostra:2026 Quebec Grand Prix|Quebec Grand Prix]] before failing to finish the [[Nostra:2026 Turkish Grand Prix|Turkish Grand Prix]].
