Nova:Great Euphoria Empire

The Great Euphoria Empire (also referred to as The Euphoric Empire or The Columbian Empire) is a meganation based on large scale exploitation and theocratic ideals. It was founded on the pillars of the former Columbian Empire by Dornan_ on the 12th of November 2021. The Empire models itself after medieval cults and guilds, following the Cult of Dredd. As of February 2022, it controls most of the land in Western Canada.

History

Background

During most of it's history, Columbia had been a part of the Cascadian Meganation as a province, however during the events of the Klondike Exodus, the province grew further from Cascadia, which led to the province's independence on the 16th of September, 2021.

Foundation

Due to internal strife, the country's governmental structure was remade which prompted Dornan to re-found the nation with the name of the "Great Euphoria Empire" on the 12th of November, 2021.

The First Klondike Rebellion

Klondike was originally governed by GreenyDuck in Kamloops (Whitehorse) however due to personal issues the governor left the province's reigns to PaintedIndigo_ which governed from .

The country's state was less than optimal during much of the latter half of 2021, and a lack of change prompted Klondike's governor, Paintedindigo_ to choose between joining Cascadia or staying in Euphoria. The decision was made over a coinflip with Euphoria loosing the bet, however a day later, Cascadia would reject Klondike which made Klondike rejoin Euphoria.

This event would eventually lead to the Second Klondike Rebellion however in the meantime it only changed Klondike's status from a province to a territory.

Religion

The Empire is a part of the Followers of Freddie Dredd (Dreddism), and it's leader, Dornan, with his peanut brain, thinks he's the prophet that was tasked with delivering Freddie's teachings. Most if not all of the Empire's population follow Dreddism.
