Description | 内容

The Kamakura Alliance Pact is an alliance which operates on the Japanese Archipelago and its surrounding regions. Kamakura's goal is to unify the Japanese Nations which seceded from Japan into one Sovereign Nation under the name of Kamakura. It also has the goal to negotiate terms between the remaining non-japanese japanese nations with the goal of uniting Japan.

History | 歴史

On November 27 2020, The following nations came together and formed Kamakura:

  • Ishikari
  • Karafuto
  • Shimazu

This was the first step towards true unification made since the reunification of Date and Sairene's Japan

Government | 政府

As of December 1st 2020, there isn't a chosen government that Kamakura will follow, but there are multiple proposals which will all be stated below.

Chiji System | ちーじシステム

Chiji is the name for the Highest Ranking official of a Prefecture which is the name for a Japanese State/Province. Under the Chiji System, the leaders will act as Chiji for Kamakura. Chiji will be made up of a council where the leaders act like a group of Emperors, but have shared authority. This does mean that in Kamakura under this proposal, Chiji would be the Highest level of power. Below that there are Daimyo, which will have power to suggest laws. Daimyo are made up of town Majors and Councillors if available.These Daimyo get the power to propose laws. All Daimyo get equal representation and in the event that Daimyo get to vote, those votes will be equal. Shimin have the right to vote on laws, which overall makes the passing laws less quick, and still lets the community have a strong voice. Under the Chiji System, this are the levels of power.

  1. Chiji | ちじ [Previews Leaders (Administrative Power)]
  2. Daimyo | 大名 {[(Majors, occasionally Councillors) Suggesting Power [Rarely Voting Power]}
  3. Shimin | 市民 [(Citizens, other town positions) Voting Power]

The Chiji System was proposed by julianmxchoppa from Karafuto on November 20th 2020.

Daimyo Council System | 大名審議会制度

The Daimyo are the Majors of Kamakura. Regardless of how big a town is, how many people are in that town, or how active it is, every Daimyo gets equal representation and equal votes. As of November 30 2020, there are 11 Daimyo. Each Daimyo has the right to vote and suggest on laws, however, only nation leaders get perms in Discord and Towny. Daimyo under this system act like a congress, with very few intervention in order for laws to be passed quicker, and to let the community have a strong voice. This system also eliminates a lot of the political inequality between Shimin and Daimyo. Under the Daimyo System, this are the levels or power.

  1. Congressional Overseer | 議会監督 {Leader or Previews Leaders [Intervention or Guidance (Only In Extremely Necessary and called occasions by Daimyo)]}
  2. Daimyo | 大名 [(Majors. Occasionally Councillors) Voting and Suggesting Power]
  3. Shimin | 市民 [Citizens (Voting Power)]

The Daimyo Council System was proposed by StellarSamurai from Ishikari on November 30th 2020.
