<imagemap> File:Stadtteile20122021.png Gutow (German: [ˈɡuto]) is the sixth borough of Mossau and the largest by area. It contains the nation spawn and the famous Küstenboulevard linking Mossau's historical centre to the coast.
Overview
Gutow covers the Casey /n spawn and was greatly expanded as part of the Großmossau-Concept. It contains Küstenboulevard street, Mossau's most important road, connecting the City Centre with the /n spawn and the Coast. Along the Küstenboulevard there are many houses reserved for international people to start their shops. Gutow borders Bärstadt to the North, Leadenhall to the Southwest and Ostende to the Southeast.
Architecture
Architecturally the borough can be divided into two parts: the north and the south. The buildings of the southern part are built in Wilhelminian style, however due to the large costs of building those houses, any further construction of buildings in this style has been cancelled. The aforementioned cancellation of Wilhelminian style houses is the reason for the establishment of the architectural divide into the south and the north, whose houses are held in the design of Bingha houses.
In the centre of the district there is Platz der Union, a large roundabout with the /n spawn on the green space in the middle of the roundabout. Platz der Union currently connects to no other road, however there are plans on constructing a new east-west road as a pendant to Küstenboulevard being a north-south connection.
At the northern end of Gutow and Küstenboulevard there is the Arbeiterpiazza, a large square which includes an observation deck where people can look at the Coast. In the middle of Arbeiterpiazza there are big water elevators leading down to Y 65 where it connects Gutow to Bärstadt. This was an emergency solution to Küstenboulevard, which is already in a pretty steep slope north of Platz der Union, not being able to come down to Y 65 in time.
Traffic
Most notably, the Mossau–New Snork Iceway runs below Gutow, calling at Platz der Union and Arbeiterpiazza ice road stations within Gutow. The Mossau–Küste and Mossau–Shrek Railways also used to run on the territory, that is now Gutow.
