Pomorie or Pomorie Republic (Russian: Поморье, Поморская Республика) it was a pre-existing state in northwestern Russia, occupying the coasts of the White Sea, Onega and Ladoga Lakes. The capital of Pomorie was located in Pavlodar. In total, there were two cities in the nation: Pavlodar and Ladoga, which formed the Pavlodar and Ladoga provinces. Pomorie bordered on Russia and the Russian Dominion.
Pomorie became the first full-fledged democratic state in the history of Russia. The country had an elected president, parliament and government. The first and only president was Elgik, who was elected Prime Minister of Russia on May 31, 2020, and initiated the entry of Pomorie into Russia.
History
Pomorie was created on May 29, 2020. The capital of the country was declared the city of Pavlodar, and Elgik became the first president. On the same day, the city of Ladoga, previously headed by a close friend of Elgik, became part of the country. The creation of the state was planned much earlier, but the money for the creation of the nation was found only by the end of the month. The creator of the nation initially decided that a democratic regime would be established. Everything will be done to ensure equality, freedom of speech, democratic elections and so on.
To do this, Elgik began forming the government, preparing for parliamentary elections and writing the constitution. The country's government consisted of Elgik, who headed both branches of government; P1KNI4OK, who was Deputy Prime Minister; Denis_Hik, who headed the Ministry of Construction and Transport; paulo2206, who was the mayor of Ladoga and led the Ministry of Defense in parallel. The parliament was supposed to be elected later, when the number of citizens would grow.
However, Pomorie was doomed. Elgik was elected Prime Minister of Russia on May 31, which is why the nation was removed on June 2, 2020.
Development prospects
The government planned to cover the entire north-western Russia under its authority.
Pavlodar was to become the largest city in Russia. It was planned to create four clusters on its territory: economic, cultural, residential and administrative. A huge store and several large enterprises were planned to be located in the economic cluster. Residential buildings and park areas were to appear in the residential cluster. They wanted to build a music hall and a museum in the cultural cluster. The Government House and the Presidential Residence were to appear in the administrative cluster. As a result, only the Government House was built, which now houses the Pavlodar City Hall.
Ladoga was to become a major economic center of the country. The government and the president wanted to locate several large enterprises here, as well as develop a seaport through the mutual operation of the Nevsky and Ladoga Canals, which would connect the Baltic and White Seas. The builders wanted to build residential quarters here in the classical style. There was to be a huge park in the center of the city, in front of which the parliament building was to be built.
From the infrastructure they wanted to build ice roads all over Russia, to build a stadium, hospitals and military barracks.
The largest project was the Russian high-rise. It was planned to build it in a huge pit, from a height of 2 blocks and up to the maximum level. Inside it they wanted to place a shop and numerous state institutions, and on the last floors, instead of a spire, a statue of Alexander Nevsky or Vladimir Putin, surrounded by lighthouses, was to appear. Another large-scale project was the Alexander III repository, which was supposed to store all kinds of blocks, mobs, paintings, and so on.
