Salt Lake City is located in the nation of Desert, south of Argent. Established by vedle, the town currently has 17 residents.

The town was established on July 29th, 2019.

Salt Lake City has no set plots, unlike most towns—residents build where they please and claim their land. There is, as of the writing of this article, no plot tax. The town contains a church (accepting of all religions), a public potato, carrot and wheat farm, a public mine, and a fountain

Early History

Salt Lake City was vedle’s goal on EarthMC when she joined the server only 5 days before creating the town. Through voting, selling and immense hours of mining, she came to her goal, and established Salt Lake City, south of her previous home in Argent, Deseret.

The Making of the Town

The public farm was built by georgewbob and IrishRhino. Originally, it only held wheat, but currently holds potatoes and carrots as well. Nearby, there is sugarcane and cactus for the taking.

Salt Lake City has previously belonged to the nation of Washington.

Economics

Salt Lake City currently takes no gold from residents, however those who do not plan on creating their own town are encouraged to donate towards Salt Lake’s expansion. Deseret also has no tax.

The Public Farm and Livestock

The public farm does have rules. Replanting is a must. Next to the farm gate, there are chests holding the produce. Residents may only take what they need at a time (no taking 11 stacks of seeds). Residents must ask the mayor before selling produce. Absolutely no griefing.

The livestock has similar rules. Residents may breed animals. They may not take them out of their pen. no taking too much. Always leave 2 animals alive at minimum.
