The Reichstag Building (German: Reichstagsgebäude; short: Reichstag; officially: Reichstagsgebäude Mossau) between Salischstraße and Reichstagsforum in Mossau is seat of the Casey Reichstag since January 2020. It was initially designed by DiamantAxt9494 in December 2019 and built the following month. The Reichstagsgebäude was renovated and expanded in June 2020 and early 2021. As of October of 2021 there are plans to retire the Reichstagsgebäude as seat of parliament and construct a new parliament building. The building however will be preserved as it was pronounced a protected building in June 2020.

Prestory

The initial seat of the Casey Reichstag was in the Bismarckturm a few blocks to the West. With the expansion of Mossau to the East in late 2019 it was decided to move the parliament to a new building, which lead to two chunks in the then-northeast part of the town being reserved to erect said building. The plans included the Reichstagsgebäude containing two large entrances, one in the front and one in the back, so that a road could be routed from the Reichstagsforum to future western districts.
