Portland was founded by BetaPlain on 9th February 2020. At the time of writing the town was run by its founder. The town is currently situated in the mega nation Cascadia. The town, as BetaPlain describes it, is currently in a non-productive state. By this, he means he is unable to expand his town without breaking the Cascadian Law.

History

BetaPlain originally lived in his town Newburn, before he was offered to be the national leader of Oregon by Estonian Mapping. BetaPlain founded Portland (now Bend) on 24th December 2019 in the ruins of Bend.

The Selling of Bend

However, the name Portland didn't make sense as he had founded his town in the real-life location of Bend, not Portland. BetaPlain expanded his town North until he came to the realization to sell his town and start again.

BetaPlain renamed Portland to Bend and sold it to Chrysoprasus who has since run the town. BetaPlain looked North to found the new Portland. BetaPlain was unaware of the Daye's Trail National Park ran by the Republic of Cascadia.

BetaPlain attempted to talk to Cascadian Secretary of Development Dailycrafterr, however, Dailycrafterr has since not responded.

Buildings

The only piece of architecture constructed by BetaPlain himself was th

e widening and decorating of the Columbia River.

Notable People

This is a required field to detail important members of the town historically or currently, so it's easier to tell which people are in which area and to get a better idea of the region. This can be organized in a list, for example:

  • Estonian Mapping

Estonian Mapping influenced BetaPlain to found the town itself.

  • Dailycrafterr

Dailycrafterr disables BetaPlain's ability to expand his town.

Business

Portland is home to the business Elite Travel, founded by BetaPlain.
