Early History
Tigranocerta (Greek: Τιγρανόκερτα, Tigranόkerta; Tigranakert (Armenian: Տիգրանակերտ)) is a town belonging to the Armenian Kingdom founded by Chrizz, an Armenian noble earlier living in Constantinople, but originated from the Armenian Highlands (east Anatolia), Tigranakert included.
