the Mackenȝie conflict is a perfect example of how a simple border conflict can spiral out of control into an all-out war. Now i have to preface this, this part of the story is heavily biased depending on which side you are on. The Canadian Union claims that Tyce was attacking Slave and the NWS side claims that the later occuring battle between Tyce and CU forces would be the Canadian Union attacking Inuvik (Tyce's Nation). Interpret it as you please. When the 10 armed militia CU forces arrived via teleport to Slave Tyce had retreated back to Inuvik. The Remaining forces went after him from there. Tyce had turned Inuvik's N spawn into a spawn trap so the N spawn couldn't have been used. Instead, the Canadian Union did the classic way and walked all the way to Inuvik, and had a battle there. 4 of the militia called, each members of rupert's land. Turned on Canadian Union forces and started aiding Inuvik because "we like him better". This would lead to Rupert's Land getting kicked from the CU, kicking off a much bigger conflict. Rupert's land and Inuvik would form the [[North West Syndicate]]. An alliance made for the sole purpose of what seemed to the Canadian Union, is to F*** over the Canadian Union. They instantly declared war on the canadian union for invasion of territory; aimed specifically at Slave. While the canadian union claimed that the leader of Rupert's Land had previously agreed to have a nation somewhere in the Yukon. They even had chat evidence. But no discussion could be arranged as they seemed to the Canadian Union as more fight less flight people. NWS was scary, it was eating up nations in the west left-and-right. What seemed to be as even a month before as uninhabited land fresh for colonization was now run by an aggressive regime. Grief on Slave continued ever more now. JBGoose made the heretic at first, but later acknowledged as strategic idea to join the NWS, Slave was even kicked out of the CU the very same way. However, it was never terminated of its Avalonese Colonialship, not even to this day. With others seeing him as a traitor to the CU now, JBGoose steadily moved up the ranks in the NWS. This comboed with the CU reforming as the [[Canadian Empire]], or CE. And joining the Brittish Commonwealth; meaning they had the protection of the most-claimed nation in the server. This lead the NWS to struggle in thought and to put what seemed to be the best men forward against the CE. This best man turned out to be JBGoose, and by the end of his spy job in ??/??/2020 had collected several amounts of data off of the NWS for the CE, and landed himself in such high-ranking positions as the elected Leader of the NWS. With his powers, he confusingly controlled the NWS so that its actions made so sense, causing it to get in minor battles with other uninvolved powers. Eventually leading to Inuvik and Ruperts_Land leaving the NWS on ??/??/2020, and the remaining nations JBGoose convinced that it would be better if they joined the CE. the Northwest Syndicate was officially dissolved on ??/??/2020. Rupert's land would later collapse as well, 3 of the 4 main leaders would leave to different parts of the world to lead their own nation. And the remaining towns would succeed and eventually split into 4 main nations. This however, would come at a price.
